Estelle: I Manifested Meeting Kanye West & John Legend Before Fame!

As a die-hard fan, I can’t help but remember my mind-blowing, once-in-a-lifetime encounter with Kanye West – an experience that took place long before his meteoric rise to stardom.

The 45-year-old British vocalist shared an anecdote regarding the moment she envisioned encountering John Legend, a pivotal event that brought her into prominence.

I happened upon Kanye West, quite by surprise, at Roscoe’s Soul Food eatery across the pond, and I found myself fervently hoping he’d step out so we could chat about introducing me to his acquaintance, John.

The female singer from America, who goes by the name “The American Boy,” shared that she had developed an intense fascination and admiration for another artist’s voice. For years, she harbored a secret wish to collaborate with this individual in the future.

In the year 2004, John decided to sign Estelle onto his record label following his discovery of her unique talent that Kanye had initially brought to his attention.

On Paul C Brunson’s recent episode of “We Need To Talk,” I couldn’t help but share my jaw-dropping account of an unforeseen meeting that left me absolutely spellbound, and I just had to spill the beans!

She mentioned that she frequents Roscoe’s, has her earbuds on, looks upward to her right, and there’s none other than Kanye West.

I stepped outside and said a prayer. I asked God, ‘If you’re listening, I urgently need John Legend to appear so I can discuss working with him. This is important to me. If you truly exist, help make it happen. I ask this in the name of Jesus. Thank you.’

Afterward, I resumed playing my record, and just as I did, Kanye appeared outside. Overwhelmed, I exclaimed, “What a blessing! Thank you, Jesus.

‘He’s [Kanye] like all right well take my number and come to the studio [with John Legend].

Kanye said, “Hey, you’re overlooking this particular note,” but John couldn’t identify which one it was. So, I sang the elusive note, and John responded, “I actually performed that note.” To which I replied, “You’ve got it spot on.

In the studio, I was certain about my actions and said, “I think it might be muted. Could it be that specific note?” He agreed, “Yes.” So I affirmed, “It seems I was right.

Initially, the individual had silenced the device, which left others perplexed, as if I had grown an extra head. They seemed puzzled, wondering why I was giving instructions, questioning my authority, and expressing confusion about the situation. However, I remained composed, acknowledging that I am confident in my knowledge, and unafraid to voice my opinions.

When Estelle mentioned she was considering parting ways with her record label, John replied by offering to sign her instead.

‘He literally started a label to sign me, he believed in me that much.’

After joining singing star Usher onstage during his fifth performance at London’s O2 Arena, her chat occurred afterwards.

The hip-hop artist emerged to applause from the crowd, glowing in a shimmering silver tunic and coordinating bell-bottom pants.

She gathered her braids neatly into a chic bun, then donned a voluminous fur coat on top, mirroring Usher’s appearance, who wore nothing but his skin beneath the garment.

Later on, Estelle sang her famous worldwide smash hit “American Boy,” a track she released 17 years prior, which turned out to be her biggest solo success.

In 2009, the song they collaborated on became the top single in the UK, featuring Kanye West. This successful partnership earned them a Grammy Award for the category of Best Rap/Sung Performance Collaboration.
