Maya Jama’s SHOCKING On-Air Fail! You Won’t Believe Who She Forgot!

On Tuesday, during her appearance on Capital XTRA, Maya Jama unintentionally fumbled when she momentarily forgot the name of one of her co-stars.

As a devoted fan, I’ve just wrapped up shooting for a fresh new series on Channel Five, titled “Now You Know,” alongside my cherished companion Julie Adenuga.

However, even though they were collaborating, Maya neglected an essential aspect when Julie phoned her for a real-time broadcast game.

During her conversation with Capital’s Robert Bruce and Shayna Marie, she faced a challenge regarding her friendship with Maya.

During our phone conversation, Julie told Maya, “Hey Maya, the title of the show we’re doing is ‘Now You Know’. Here’s the deal: I’ll share five facts about myself, and it’s your job to respond.

‘Just know at the end of this I still love you.’ 

Maya admitted: ‘I was going to say this feels intense and I’m not that good at this stuff.’ 

‘First one, what is my full name?’ Julie asked. 

Maya laughed: ‘Well, no. I don’t know that.’

Recently, Maya posted about an experience she had with a homeless man in New York City, where she treated him to a day out, as she discussed this on her Instagram Story.

In a recent TikTok post, Maya reminisced about an old story: ‘Remember the time I resided in New York and found myself quite idle? So, I treated a homeless individual to a whole day out.’

Her friend Julie Adenuga laughed and replied: ‘Yes, I do.’ 

Moving forward, let me share a thought with you: It seems to stem from my upbringing, as I recall having numerous guests over at our home during my childhood. This early exposure fostered a sense of trust in people within me.

In those days, finding solace amid the quietude of my New York apartment, I yearned for companionship as the pandemic kept us all at arm’s length. On a whim one day, I stepped outside, craving human interaction and perhaps a simple spark. It was then, I recall, that I crossed paths with a stranger. I believe it was over a request for a lighter that our paths intertwined, igniting a connection that has since become unforgettable.

In a fervent tone, I found myself expressing, “Fancy grabbing a pint at the local?” To my surprise, an older gentleman, around fifty or so, shook his head and declined. Undeterred by his initial refusal, I persisted, “Listen, I’m English, fresh off the boat here, truth be told, I don’t have many friends yet. I just yearn for a bit of camaraderie at a pub today.

She chuckled as she explained: “First, he didn’t feel like joining me, but eventually I managed to convince him, and afterwards we enjoyed a beer together.

After we completed each drink, he would express himself by saying something like, “Alright, thank you so much, it was great to meet you. Let’s part ways now.

In summary, we wound up spending about six hours bar-hopping across various pubs in New York with a guy named John. We’ve remained in contact since then, and it turned out to be one of the most enjoyable days I’ve had.
