Good news Paddington fans! The delightful Paddington in Peru is now on Netflix

Back in November, Paddington once again captured our hearts following a lengthy anticipation period, and now, this delightful adventure is available to stream on Netflix in both the United Kingdom and Ireland.

Today, the blockbuster third installment that shattered several UK box office records, raking in over $160 million globally, is now available for streaming.

As a gamer diving into “Paddington’s Peruvian Adventure,” directed by Dougal Wilson (taking over from Paul King), I find myself accompanying Paddington on his journey back to his homeland, Peru, where Aunt Lucy, a respected retiree among bears, resides at the Bear Retirement Home.

Upon arrival, Paddington learns from Sister Olivia Colman that Aunt Lucy has vanished.

Joining spirited boat captain Hunter Cabot, portrayed by Antonio Banderas, along with his child Gina, the Brown family, accompanied by Paddington, embark on a journey deep into the Peruvian rainforest in search of answers concerning Aunt Lucy’s fate.

According to Digital Spy, this film is “an excellent movie that Paddington fans of all ages will enjoy as much as a delightful marmalade sandwich.” Currently, it boasts an almost perfect rating of 93% on Rotten Tomatoes.

As I sit here, engrossed in my latest gaming session, it’s hard not to feel a thrill of excitement rippling through me. You see, my beloved Paddington universe just got a fantastic boost! Anna Marsh, the CEO of Studiocanal and Deputy CEO of Canal+, has confirmed that another Paddington movie is on its way! Can’t wait to join Paddington once again on his delightful adventures!

Marsh clarified that the fourth movie is in the works. They are brainstorming ideas for future films, developing a TV series, and collaborating with Sonia Friedman and Eliza Lumley on a stage musical too.

Previously, producer Rosie Alison expressed uncertainty about whether a fourth installment would be made for the series, as she felt the film didn’t meet expectations.

Alison expressed that we should observe its global and U.S. performance to anticipate its success, as she is optimistic about it. She mentioned that we could have a better understanding by Easter, but hopefully, there are strong indications of what’s likely to follow in the conclusion of this movie.
