Big Brother Bosses Are Pushing Chris & Ella Together! Camera Cuts Reveal Plans
It seems that the producers of Celebrity Big Brother anticipate a romantic connection developing between Ella Rise Wise and Chris Hughes in this season’s show.
The show commenced on a Monday evening, featuring celebrities such as Mickey Rourke, Jojo Siwa, and Trisha Goddard taking up residence in the house.
It appears that the bosses have an expectation that Chris, aged 32, (former Love Island contestant) could find himself attracted to Ella, 24, who recently ended her relationship with Dan Edgar and is a star on TOWIE.
As Ella stepped into the house during the ongoing broadcast, the camera swiftly shifted to Chris, who sported a broad grin.
During her VT before she went into the house, Ella described herself as a ‘terrible flirt’.
She exclaimed: ‘I feel as if I could effortlessly drift on air, even with a loaf of bread. I have a knack for being playful and engaging with just about anything! I’m currently being playfully engaging with the camera.’
This year, a prominent double bed has been added to the house, resulting in some celebrities having to share sleeping quarters.
Many viewers picked up on the moment and took to X to comment on the potential showmance brewing.
They wrote: ‘Chris seeing Ella walk int he house. He’s going to go for her isn’t he?’
‘The camera IMMEDIATELY panning to Chris when Ella walked in LMAO. They know what they’re doing.’
They focused the camera directly on Chris as soon as Ella entered the room, indicating that they are aiming for an overt “showmance” rather than a subtle one.
Following Ella’s recent confirmation that she and her TOWIE co-star Dan Edgar have parted ways, only a few days after vowing not to entertain Chris romantically while living under the same roof.
The reality star explained to The Sun that our separation is not due to having a fantastic sexual relationship, but rather it’s because of an unexpected split in our relationship.
She expressed that we are no longer a pair, and it’s deeply regrettable that our separation occurred just a week ago, as she finds this situation very disheartening.
She added that although Dan is kind, there seemed to be a certain ‘lack’ or ‘gap’ in their relationship that made her feel it wasn’t worth continuing, as they should not squander their precious time together.
She noted that Dan tends to stick to his habits, expressing it this way: “Dan seems content with who he is, and if he believes the contributions he makes within a relationship are sufficient, that’s fine. But they simply don’t meet my expectations.
Just a few days ago, their surprise separation occurred, following reports that she allegedly vowed to Dan not to engage in flirting with Chris inside the Big Brother house.
Though Ella’s heartfelt appeal seemed to hold weight, The Sun hinted at a different tune, suggesting that producers might harbor alternative plans. They seem to be contemplating the idea of teaming us up for tasks and potentially broadcasting any private conversations we might share.
According to a source, Ella and Dan have put in considerable effort to reach this stage in their relationship, managing to navigate through various challenges along the way.
As a die-hard fan, I can assure you that the furthest thing from my heart’s desire is for Dan to harbor any inkling of insecurity concerning Chris while he shares the same roof as me.
She assured Dan that she would neither flirt with Chris nor mislead him. Above all, she aims to avoid causing Dan any embarrassment.
Prior to the addition: ‘Producers are anticipating that Ella and Chris will get along well. Therefore, they might have unique strategies for teaming them up during tasks and showcasing any conversations they’ve had among inmates.’
As reported by The Sun, the producers of Celebrity Big Brother had a strong interest in recruiting Ella, who previously dated Pete Wicks, as part of the newest group of housemates.
They are hoping she might spill the beans on some of her other famous exes.
Previously, Chris had been involved romantically with Olivia Attwood, another Love Island contestant whom he made it to the finale with. Additionally, he had a notable relationship with Jesy Nelson from Little Mix that ended in April 2020.
