Jodie Foster’s Son Shocks Everyone with Bold New Look at Star-Studded Gala!
At the Breakthrough Prize Ceremony held in Santa Monica, California, it was Jodie Foster who was spotted accompanied by her son, Kit Bernard Foster.
In a stunning display, the 23-year-old flaunted his fresh pair of ear piercings, both embellished with golden studs, while posing alongside his renowned mother, who is 62 years old, at the red carpet event.
Kit stood taller than his mom, and he opted for a timeless style in a sleek black suit paired with a crisp white shirt, adding a touch of playfulness with a stylish black-and-white polka dot bowtie.
While the actress from The Silence of the Lambs sported an elegant appearance in a sleeveless, mid-length gown featuring stylish tuxedo details.
Jodie has two children, including Kit and her son Charlie (age 26). She had them with her ex-partner, Cydney Bernard. They parted ways in 2008, ending a relationship that spanned 15 years.
The award-winning actress deliberately chose to shield her kids from the limelight associated with her successful acting profession.

In 2018, she informed The Guardian that the risks associated with a family member being involved in one’s artistic endeavors are overwhelmingly high.
These days, my eldest child is showing increased enthusiasm for acting, which makes me happy that he found this interest at a later stage. Conversely, my youngest one is quite timid and I wouldn’t be surprised if he never pursues acting as a career.
Charlie accompanied his mother to the SAG Awards in February.
Jodie started shining in television and movies back in the ’70s as a kid, but her kids have had ordinary childhoods, living out of the spotlight.
Oldest child Charlie, who graduated from Yale, is often referred to as a “theater enthusiast” by his mom, whereas youngest sibling Kit has chosen a path in the field of science for his profession.
In January, Jodie received another accolade to add to her shelf – the Golden Globe for the Best Actress in a Series or Television Film, which she earned due to her performance in True Detective: Night Country. Once again, her son Kit was present to cheer her on.
In her speech following the receipt of her recent award at the Beverly Hilton Hotel, she expressed gratitude towards her loved ones by saying, “I’d like to give a heartfelt thanks to my family.
Perhaps it resonates with you to recognize the immense satisfaction, a true joy indeed, that stems from engaging in challenging, significant, impactful tasks, as exemplified by my sons Kit, a scientist, and Charlie, an actor just embarking on his career.
To my dear sons and to the love of my life, Alex, I want you all to know that my affection for each of you is boundless. My gratitude for your presence in my life will endure forever.

In September, the usually private actress revealed that she’s looking forward to the future for her two sons.
She explained to People that they are now entering the stage of their lives where they are launching their careers, and they are quite anxious about the future.
Whenever they experience delight, be it landing a job or securing an audition, their heart swells with joy, as if magnified by 14 times. This is because they carry a cherished memory of a fulfilling career constructed upon meaningful work. They firmly believe that this formula holds the key to true happiness.
‘So I’m just thrilled for them, for the future.’
In 1998, Foster brought home her firstborn, Charles, while her youngest, Christopher Bernard (also known as Kit), joined the family in 2001.
They grew up in Los Angeles, and earlier, the actress emphasized the importance of providing them with stable childhoods following the turbulence in her own upbringing due to her rapidly advancing acting career.
In her interview with PEOPLE in 2007, she expressed that she felt a strong personal desire to establish a secure and ordinary environment for them, as one of the most significant things lacking in her own childhood was safety and normality.
‘I really craved having a routine, stable life and that’s what I’ve given to my kids.’

In January, Jodie explained the reason behind not disclosing her Hollywood stardom to her children during their upbringing.
She mentioned on The View, “I suppose I didn’t want them to see that side of me. Instead, I wanted them to recognize me as their mother and the one who went off to work and other things.
‘I just didn’t want them to be confused about what I did for a living,’ she added.
I replied something like, ‘Indeed, these are sets, specifically these ones. For quite some time, he mistakenly believed I worked in construction.’
As Charles and his younger son, Kit, have grown into adults, people have wondered if Jodie has ever watched any of her movies alongside them.
She mentioned that they don’t seem keen on watching movies with her, instead, it looks like they might be tuning into the True Detective series on HBO since they appear to be quite fond of it.
