Every Hunger Games character who has been recast in Sunrise on the Reaping

This November, The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping returns to the world of Panem, bringing back several beloved characters—though you might not immediately recognize them. The series has revisited characters before, as we saw with Coriolanus Snow in The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes, but this new movie takes that concept even further.

The upcoming film, Sunrise on the Reaping, will feature a new actor playing Coriolanus Snow, and will also bring back seven other characters from throughout The Hunger Games series. Because the story is set 24 years before the original film, these returning characters will be played by younger actors. However, Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson are confirmed to reprise their roles as Katniss and Peeta.

With the new trailer now out, we’ve been taking a close look at the actors chosen for the roles in Sunrise on the Reaping. We’re incredibly impressed with the casting choices – in fact, we wouldn’t be surprised if casting directors Debra Zane and Dylan Jury win an Oscar for it next year. Every actor is perfectly suited for their part.

The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping is released in cinemas on 20 November.
