A Minecraft Movie is already the fourth-biggest movie of the year after huge opening

The “Minecraft” film, having only been in theaters for a short while, is now ranked as the fourth most successful movie of the year.

On Friday, the blockbuster movie version of the world’s best-selling video game was released, raking in more than $300 million at cinemas worldwide.

Moreover, not only has the movie climbed to the fourth spot on this year’s box office charts, but it is also rapidly approaching the earnings of “Captain America: Brave New World,” which stands at $410 million after an eight-week run.

The animated sensation, Ne Zha 2, has smashed records with an impressive $2 billion earnings, while the comedy-mystery Tang Tan 1900 has left audiences puzzled and entertained, racking up a cool $440 million!

Neither “Brave New World” nor “Tang Tan 1900” are significantly different from the earnings of “Minecraft” at the box office, but could Jack Black and Jason Momoa’s comedy potentially unseat “Ne Zha 2”?

The film, “The Super Mario Bros Movie,” has already earned an impressive $1.3 billion at the box office, making it a strong contender for becoming the highest-grossing video game adaptation of all time. Unlike other movies that debut over three days, this Nintendo production saw a whopping $204.6 million in earnings spread across five days.
