The chief at DC Studios, James Gunn, recently shared on X platform the precise launch date for the second season of Peacemaker.
According to Gunn, who wrote every episode for the second season and will also be directing some episodes, the Peacemaker series featuring John Cena is set to premiere on Max later this summer. On X, he shared a post expressing his excitement about the upcoming release, stating that he recently completed the final touches on the Season Premiere and finds it among his favorite works ever. The second season of Peacemaker, produced by DC Studios, will be available exclusively on @StreamOnMax starting August 21.
In the second season, John Cena takes on the role of both John/Peacemaker (Christopher Smith), while Danielle Brooks, Freddie Stroma, Jennifer Holland, Steve Agee, Nhut Le, and Robert Patrick reprise their previous roles. Additionally, Sol Rodríguez, Brey Noelle, and Tim Meadows join the cast for this season. The second season will debut on August 21 exclusively on Max.
