Jacqui Burfoot, a former participant from the reality TV show “Married At First Sight,” has finally spoken up regarding Ryan Donnelly’s surprising assertion about her new relationship with fellow cast member Clint Rice.
At a MAFS watching event in Sydney on Sunday night, Rice unexpectedly put forward a proposition, which Ryan swiftly dismissed as a “marketing tactic”.
Jacqui, 29, slammed Ryan, 37, in an interview with The Fox’s Fifi, Fev & Nick on Monday morning.
‘Ryan doesn’t take anything I do well. Like, nothing I do is good enough for him,’ Jacqui began.
Subsequently, she expressed that Ryan was known for circulating untrue tales about her, aiming to undermine her credibility.
He’s often critical, saying things like, “Oh, it’s not real; she doesn’t truly love him.” He finds it difficult to accept and move past situations. This shows a pattern of negativity in his speech.

‘He will be like, “Oh, she’s cheating” and next minute, “It’s fake, a publicity stunt”.’
Jacqui then issued some blunt words to her former flame: ‘Move on mate! You dumped me, too.’
It comes after Ryan slammed Jacqui Burfoot and Clint Rice’s engagement announcement.
In a video posted on TikTok, the Tasmanian entrepreneur is captured proposing marriage to his beloved while kneeling, followed by him revealing a stunning diamond ring.
The news quickly spread to Burfoot’s ex-TV groom from Married at First Sight, as well as other cast members who were present at Daily Mail Australia’s private Reunion Party held at the Ovolo Hotel in Sydney’s Woolloomooloo.
Ryan didn’t mince words after viewing the clip.
‘I was just want to say cheers to the happy couple,’ he began, while holding a beer.
He went on to say that it was genuine and spontaneous, not intended for show or promotion, and he was overjoyed about it. However, his tone suggested a hint of sarcasm.

Elsewhere, Ryan made fun of Jacqui’s background as a jeweller.
‘Oh, [was the ring] Jacqueline Lee Jewellery, maybe? he sniped.
After hearing the ring was not from Jacqui’s business, Ryan took a further dig.
‘Sorry, we’re dealing with class here.’
Video clips from the Daily Mail Australia event capture Ryan struggling to hide his chuckles while observing the affectionate couple’s viral moment.
Other cast members were also in hysterics as Jacqui planted a joyous kiss on Clint’s lips.
In the subsequent scenes of the video, I gleefully displayed my sparkling engagement ring to my cherished Married at First Sight followers, beaming with joy.
Previously, he asserted that his on-screen spouse Jacqui wasn’t primarily there for finding love on the program.
During an open and candid conversation with Daily Mail Australia, Ryan shared that Jacqui had forged a clandestine bond with Clint even while they were still married. He described this situation as one where she was pursuing a strategy to manipulate the storyline he called ‘an agenda’.
Ryan didn’t hold back when asked why he thought his marriage with Jacqui imploded so dramatically.
‘Her motivation was to be the main character (of the show), I think,’ he said bluntly.
