The project was led by Lab-Grown Leather Ltd. and The Organoid Company, who were able to retrieve instructions from fossilized T. rex DNA. They then used this information to grow actual leather cells in a lab. Remarkably, these cells build themselves into a natural leather structure without any artificial support. This precise process ensures the final product is completely free of harmful chemicals and has a distinct biological makeup, reflecting its origins from this incredible predator.
