In the Netflix series “I’ll Be Finding You,” adapted from Harlan Coben’s novels, they have just announced another significant character is joining the cast.
In a forthcoming crime-drama, we find the tale of David Burroughs, a man falsely accused and imprisoned for the murder of his son. However, as he uncovers clues suggesting his child might still be alive, David makes a daring escape from prison to pursue the truth himself.
Based on the recent announcement, it’s been shared by Variety that Chi McBride will be part of the cast, taking on the role of Max Williams, a highly respected FBI agent who embarks on a mission to capture David, a character played by Sam Worthington, after his breakout from prison.
Beyond Worthington and McBride, the ensemble for “I Will Find You” also features Britt Lower, Milo Ventimiglia, Logan Browning, Erin Richards, and Jonathan Tucker. Notably, Tucker takes on the role of a police officer who is a close friend of David’s character in the story.
The upcoming eight-episode TV show, adapted from Coben’s 2023 novel, marks the initial US production based on his literature. Robert Hull is in charge of this series, while author Harlan Coben himself will act as an executive producer. As of now, there’s no confirmed air date for this project.

Hull praised the cast for the exceptional talent they bring to the series, stating that each actor is remarkable and would be a dream to work with individually. He noted that gathering such an impressive lineup is a clear demonstration of the captivating storytelling by Harlan,” said Hull via Tudum.
Netflix has now adapted “I Will Find You” as its 12th project based on Coben’s work. Back in 2018, they signed a multi-year contract with the author, and this deal was recently extended by four more years. Previously, other works under this agreement included “Fool Me Once”, “Missing You”, and “The Stranger”.
The series will continue with “Flee,” where James Nesbitt portrays a father whose life is flipped inside out when his daughter (Ellie de Lange) decides to leave home. Besides Nesbitt and Lange, the show also features Ruth Jones and Minnie Driver in its ensemble cast.
I Will Find You doesn’t yet have a release date.
