Jennie Bond, 75, is praised for her ‘joy, energy and great legs’ as she dances in her silk robe to get rid of ‘aches and pains’ in a fun video

Jennie Bond is well-known as the BBC’s royal correspondent, a role she held for 14 years. However, she’s recently revealed a different side of her personality through her social media presence.

The 75-year-old broadcaster and Daily Mail columnist posted a video of herself dancing in a pink silk robe, explaining she does it to relieve discomfort and pain.

Jennie McAlpine, who recently finished as a runner-up on ‘I’m A Celebrity,’ is winning praise from fans for her positive attitude and energy, as well as a video she shared from her beautiful home in Devon.

Jennie shared a video with the caption: ‘The perfect way to kick off the day…and soothe those painting-related aches! #Painting #dancing #diy’

After sharing a video of her newly painted blue deck, people commented to compliment her cheerful attitude.

They wrote: ‘Great legs Jennie Bond.’

‘Where do you get so much energy from?’

‘Gosh I wish I had this energy when I get up love it!’

‘Well, I didnt expect that from THE Jennie bond but I love it.’

‘I love dancing in the morning too it gets rid of the aches and pains and brightens your morning.’

I’ve noticed another one of these amazing ‘morning dance’ videos pop up, and honestly, it just makes my day! I’m completely captivated by the pure, unfiltered happiness it brings, so of course I’ve hit that follow button. It’s instant joy!

I’ve always been fascinated by Jennie and Jim’s story! They actually built their dream home, right on the coast, completely from the ground up back in 2002. It’s amazing to think they created it all themselves.

She explained that her decision to leave her job as the BBC’s royal correspondent was largely because of a move she made, though she did cherish many good memories from the role.

Oh my gosh, you will NOT believe this! I was at the Palace once, covering a story, and I just had to tell Princess Diana how incredible her legs looked. I blurted out, ‘Your legs look amazing, what tights do you wear?’ And she was so sweet, she actually gave me a pair! Can you believe it? Sadly, I was so clumsy, I snagged them and completely ruined them. I’m still mortified, but it’s the best story ever!

I received a strange delivery at the Palace – seven pairs of sheer, light-colored stockings, along with a note suggesting I find it funny. I actually still have two pairs of them!

Looking back at my time on ‘I’m A Celebrity…’ back in 2004, I have to admit my husband wasn’t thrilled about the idea at first! It took some convincing, let me tell you.

He initially felt the challenge was humiliating, but our daughter, Emma, was excited about me eating slugs in the jungle. Jim eventually agreed, and that’s how I ended up traveling to Australia.

While not everyone enjoyed the challenges, I managed to raise over £250,000 for the Devon Air Ambulance thanks to all the votes I received.

‘I finished runner-up and I’ve never regretted it because it opened up so many doors.’
