Marvel Rivals: Season 2 Hellfire Gala Coming Next Week With Emma Frost and Ultron Four
NetEase Games has revealed that the second season of Marvel Rivals, titled “Hellfire Gala,” will debut for their PvP hero shooter game in the upcoming week. Instead of introducing a new hero every six weeks, they plan to add one each month, while also shortening the duration of the seasons.
In the upcoming season, previously chilly X-Men character Emma Frost, now a hero, and Ultron Four, who joins later in the season, are set to join the lineup. This second season is scheduled to last for three months and will introduce not only these new characters but also two fresh maps, special events, and exciting Team-Ups.
Emma Frost serves as the Vanguard character, overseeing the festivities after the Eternal Night storyline ends, encouraging everyone to attend the Krakoa living island and mutant sanctuary for the yearly Hellfire Gala. However, trouble arises when Ultron disrupts the event, making it essential that you take action to safeguard Krakoa’s most valuable asset.
As Emma Frost, you’ll have the power to employ her telepathic and diamond abilities to safeguard allies and annihilate adversaries. Meanwhile, the latest Hellfire Gala: Krakoa will serve as the stage for the commotion, offering lush botanical environments to traverse through, all while fireworks explode in the distance. Additionally, a new update brings adjustments to Team-Up Abilities and additional features.
The development team is also planning to introduce weekly quests into the game in addition to the current daily missions and tasks. This will enable players to accumulate all Battle Pass rewards before the end of the season. Starting from Season 3, Marvel Rivals will transition to a two-month cycle, with a new character being introduced every month.
Marvel Rivals boasts over 40 million players since its debut, and with Season 1 introducing the Fantastic Four, anticipation builds for the upcoming Season 2: Hellfire Gala starting on April 11th. For further details, check out the trailers provided below.
