eFootball 2025 Epic Italy 2006 pack review

In the ongoing series of extraordinary player packs, eFootball 2025 is focusing on the midfield legends from the Italy 2006 World Cup-winning team. The Epic Italy 2006 Pack features three key midfielders who played a crucial role in their nation’s victory: Gennaro Gattuso, Francesco Totti, and Andrea Pirlo.

As a dedicated fan, this collection feels like a treasure – reminiscent of the moment when the Italian team triumphantly hoisted the trophy following an intense match that even required the nerve-wracking tension of penalty shootouts. Let’s delve into their exceptional qualities and understand how they dominate the field.

Epic cards from the Epic Italy 2006 pack in eFootball 2025

In a comparable fashion, this group comprises approximately 150 individuals, each holding three Epic cards. Among them, two possess the “Show Time” skillset, while one is simply an ordinary Epic card.

Fransisco Totti

  • Position: CF
  • Playing Style: Deep-Lying Forward
  • Showtime Skill: Phenomenal Pass

Totti’s trading card is a delight for enthusiasts of technical finesse, as this Forward card almost perfectly embodies the role of a Deep-Lying Forward. He possesses outstanding dribbling, ball handling, and passing abilities at his core, making it simple to identify these strengths as you advance with him on the field.

Totti may not be a typical poacher, but he’s incredibly effective inside the penalty area, often scoring with remarkable precision. His goal conversion rate is exceptionally high, reaching nearly 90%, so there’s no cause for concern. Interestingly, this version of his card exhibits impressive speed stats, although it may not be enough to outrun many defenders who also receive speed bonuses.

Looking at the entire card and the Show Time skill, it would be a missed opportunity not to position him as Shortstop (SS). His rating skyrockets to an astounding 107 in this position, making it my recommendation to construct his stats like so: 7-4-9-10-9-4. This arrangement maximizes his abilities the most.

Gennaro Gattuso

  • Position: DMF
  • Playing Style: Destroyer
  • Showtime Skill: Fortress

My friend’s account, which he managed to obtain by sheer luck, is like an unstoppable machine. He never seems to tire, a quality that makes him quite formidable. In essence, he’s a tenacious, aggressive force, always eager for battles and confrontations. You could say he’s a relentless Destroyer who thrives on tackles and duels.

His style of play involves relentlessly harassing opponents, disrupting their rhythm, and regaining control of the ball. His endurance allows him to chase after every bit of grass. However, I advocate for a more balanced structure where his defensive skills are rated in the mid-90s, but focus on enhancing his speed and passing abilities instead.

Andrea Pirlo

  • Position: DMF
  • Playing Style: Orchestrator

I’m taken aback that this card lacks a “Show Time” ability. It would be fantastic if it had skills like “Phenomenal Pass” or “Visionary Pass”. He’s the type of midfielder who controls the pace of the game, and his midfield stats are truly top-notch, they’re on par with the best in the world.

He’s exceptionally talented at passing and possesses all the essential skills. Moreover, he demonstrates a remarkable ability to keep control of the ball, making it seem as if it’s glued to his feet. This skill is consistently present across his game cards. Additionally, his delivery during set pieces is another significant strength. In essence, he embodies the quintessential characteristics of a Central Midfielder, but his talents extend far beyond that.

Offensively speaking, Pirlo isn’t a “destroyer,” but rather, he excels at positioning and understanding the game flow. This enables him to cut off passes effectively and manage possession efficiently. However, in terms of speed, his pace could be improved upon in auto build, so it’s essential for him to have a more agile midfield partner who can compensate by covering ground.

Best pick from the Italy 2006 pack in eFootball 2025

I personally think all three options are fantastic choices. However, I believe Totti stands out as the top pick due to significant improvements in stats compared to his other cards. As for Gattuso and Pirlo, they’re both reliable selections that will handle the game well, so you can trust them to perform without worry. In my opinion, you should definitely consider getting any of these three.
