Davina McCall’s Life Regret Revealed: Sun Damage Tops the List!

Davina McCall shares that if given a chance to live her life over, one thing she would change is avoiding excessive sun exposure without using sufficient sunscreen (SPF).

The television host, aged 57, recently shared some new insights about her current health status following the surgery to remove a brain tumor in November.

At a gathering organized by Garnier, where Davina serves as an ambassador, she shared that everything in her life currently is going exceptionally well.

‘I am just so grateful, that’s all I am. I’ve got a load of vitamin G.

‘I feel enormously grateful to even be here.

‘One of my greatest regrets is that I used to fry myself in the sun.

‘When I was younger, I would use cooking oil and if I was burnt, I’d think “oh great”.

‘So I really am now trying to take more care and wear SPF every day.

‘I do mole marking now too. I am so aware of my skin health.’

In November, a non-cancerous brain cyst was found in Davina, which impacts only about 3 out of a million individuals according to doctors. As a result, she had to undergo surgery.

The tumor was discovered at a private clinic following a health examination that she received, which was provided as an offer after her participation in a discussion about menopause.

After a successful operation to remove a growth, Davina recently shared that she’s just returned from a vacation with her oldest child Holly, who resides in Manchester.

‘For obvious reasons recently I haven’t been able to go away. Since at least last summer.

‘Four sleeps away and all we did was relax, laugh, cry and spend quality time together.

‘And I stayed out of the sun, so I’ve got a bit of fake tan on today.’

For seventeen years, the television host and former spouse, Matthew Robinson, were parents to a family of three.

In the year 2001, their oldest child Holly came into the world. Two years after that, Tilly joined the family, and in 2006, Chester was added to their brood.

She is now with her long term partner, hair stylist Michael Doughlas.

Just this week Davina also set the record straight as to whether or not she will marry Michael.

In her most recent podcast episode titled “Making the Cut”, Davina left no room for ambiguity about her response to getting married.

She and Michael met when he styled her long brunette locks during her Big Brother stints.

In 2019, they made their relationship known to the public, and by early 2023, Michael had moved in with the celebrity.

During Davina’s brain tumor surgery, her partner Michael faced his toughest challenge, yet this experience has drawn them even closer than before.

Last night, Davina livestreamed on TikTok Shop to commemorate her collaboration with Garnier and their popular Vitamin C UV Glow SPF 50 product. During the live stream, she was captured playing in ball pits and personally packaging orders for customers.

She donned a chic black-and-white minidress paired with stylish Gucci loafer heels, letting her hair cascade loose while exuding a lively and cheerful demeanor.
