In the movie “A Minecraft Movie”, Emma Myers temporarily stepped away from Nevermore Academy for a journey to the Overworld, and she’s already brainstorming about which video game adaptation she’d like to explore next.
The upcoming film casts Myers as Natalie, a character who, along with three other outcasts, enters the Overworld via a strange gateway. To return home, she bands together with skilled artisan Steve, portrayed by Jack Black, embarking on a grand adventure.
Given her personal interest in The Legend of Zelda, Digital Spy asked Myers if she would consider taking on a role in the forthcoming film version of the game.
She replied, “In other words, if they want me in their video game film,” she added, suggesting other video games that could potentially be made into movies as well.
Myers proposed that the “The Last of Us” TV show is exceptional and if they could create a series based on “Red Dead Redemption”, it would be fantastic. He also mentioned that an animated series for “Portal” would make for a great production as well.
Feel free to place me anywhere within the world of Red Dead, I don’t mind taking on a bit role. In fact, it wouldn’t bother me at all! As for an exciting opportunity, I’d love to voice the character of GLaDOS from Portal – that would be a blast! So go ahead and let the universe know about this idea.
In the potential scenario of a Portal series, Sebastian Hansen, who previously collaborated with her on Minecraft, proposed a reunion. He said, “I’d play Wheatley in Portal 2, while she would portray GLaDOS.
As we anxiously anticipate if any of their concepts become reality, a Minecraft film titled “A Minecraft Movie” hits theaters this coming Friday. In this movie, they share the screen with esteemed actors like Jason Momoa, Jennifer Coolidge, and Jack Black.
In the movie, Momoa showered his young co-stars with compliments, particularly because they often had to take on roles that required a mature, adult-like performance.
In my opinion, Emma played the most challenging role, and she excelled at it spectacularly. Although there were many fantastic aspects to the film that ultimately didn’t make the final cut, her performance was outstanding, according to him when speaking with Digital Spy.
Sebastian is fantastic as he serves as the key motivator, making it quite challenging to find the suitable child for the task.
In an interview with Digital Spy, Momoa shared that he pleaded to include Coolidge in the film after joining as a producer.
A Minecraft Movie is released in cinemas on April 4.
