Neil Young Fears Trump Will Bar Him from America After European Tour!
Neil Young voiced worries that President Donald Trump might bar him from re-entering the U.S. after his European tour.
79-year-old music icon, who is both American and Canadian by citizenship and was born in Canada, has been vocal about his criticism towards President Trump, a 78-year-old U.S. president, labeling him as the most disastrous president in history.
As his first European tour in six years approaches within a couple of months, the renowned musician expresses concern that Donald Trump might prevent him from re-entering Europe or potentially imprison him.
When visiting Europe to perform music, expressing opinions about Donald J. Trump might result in being denied entry or imprisoned, potentially facing harsh conditions such as sleeping on a cold concrete floor with only an aluminum blanket. This was stated on the author’s website on Tuesday.
He went on to say: ‘It’s happening more frequently now. There are updated guidelines for individuals re-entering the U.S., which you can learn about at the CANADA Desk. If I were denied entry upon returning from Europe and my tour in America was canceled, then all those who purchased tickets for my concerts would be unable to attend.’
Indeed, individuals who express criticism towards Trump or his administration might face restrictions when trying to return to the United States,” he continued.

‘If you’re Canadian, or if you share dual citizenship with me, let’s discover our shared status as we go along.’
Young characterized the situation as a threat to freedom of speech.
If expressing my opinion that Donald Trump was the most subpar president in American history might keep me away, then what does that imply about our cherished Freedom? I have a deep affection for America, its citizens, its melodies, and its traditions… Let’s not forget, it’s all about the Freedom of Expression!
The speaker continued: “It appears that, under the current actions of the US government, individuals expressing their own opinions freely may face penalties as if there were a Trump law without basis. If you chose Kamala Harris over Trump in the election, it could potentially lead to imprisonment or detention for not demonstrating loyalty. How weak-kneed is that?
It seems that Trump doesn’t handle disagreements well with those who hold different views from him. Just a reminder, all months do not have 30 days.
He concluded: ‘One country, indivisible, with Liberty and Freedom for all. Remember that? I do.’
Despite being posted on April Fool’s Day, a time often met with suspicion, Young’s comments line up with his recent critiques against Trump, suggesting authenticity in this instance.
From June 8 through July 13, young artist will embark on a European tour. Later, starting from August 8 in Charlotte, he and his band, Crazy Horse, plan to embark on a U.S. tour, with a September 15 performance at the Hollywood Bowl included in their schedule.

Yesterday, he shared a message expressing his concerns about current events in the United States. He claimed that the freedom of speech is being suppressed and silenced by our government. Furthermore, journalists who don’t align with the government have been prohibited from conducting interviews with our president.
Individuals of Canadian-American descent, including myself, have experienced a potential infringement on their liberty. This is often carried out through actions like retrieving personal data from their devices without consent and utilizing it as grounds for denying entry into the country, or even imprisonment. Essentially, expressing disagreement with the government can result in being denied entry or facing incarceration.
He continued, urging, “Don’t confine your understanding within today’s political landscape and the restrictive policies of the Trump administration, which seemingly encroach upon your fundamental American liberties. It was you who chose this leader. He serves as your President.
In addition, he criticized Elon Musk, the head of SpaceX and Tesla, who is currently leading the Department of Government Efficiency under the Trump administration.
He also took aim at Elon Musk, CEO of SpaceX and Tesla, who is presently directing the Department of Government Efficiency within the Trump administration.
Or: He also attacked Elon Musk, the leader of SpaceX and Tesla, in his post, who is currently overseeing the Department of Government Efficiency as part of the Trump administration.
Is Elon Musk truly harmless? Pause for thought. His influence could potentially pose a risk to American interests, and this seems to be facilitated by our current president due to the substantial financial backing he provided during the presidential election.
In 2020, Young sued the Trump campaign to try to get them to stop using his music at their rallies.
The musician disagreed with the controversial political figure using his songs, specifically “Rockin’ in the Free World” and “Devil’s Sidewalk,” in official papers that were acquired by TMZ.
In a statement, the musician expressed that it doesn’t sit well with him ethically to have his songs function as a theme for a contentious, anti-American campaign that promotes prejudice and hatred.

Young demanded compensation and a court order preventing Trump from using his songs at any upcoming political events.
From his official account, the musician expressed his disapproval, sharing a video of his 1989 song “Rockin’ in a Free World” playing loudly at the event as a clear indication of his feelings.
In the year 2020, he penned an open missive to the American president, expressing his sentiment that the officeholder was bringing shame upon our nation.
He noted that Trump’s claims of economic success don’t hide the truth that he’s actually talking about numbers he inherited four years back, referring to his former president, Barack Obama, in a subtle remark.
