Digital Spy’s first print magazine is coming – here’s how to get yours first!
It’s been a long time coming, but Digital Spy is finally in print.
Our initial publication, with plans for more, focuses solely on a single topic: outstanding British comedians.
As a gaming enthusiast, I can’t help but appreciate the humor that comedians infuse into their acts. You see, whether it’s a soap opera, game show, TV drama, or movie, they all have this common thread of laughter – sometimes subtle, other times boisterous. So, when it came to deciding our theme, comedy felt like a natural choice. After all, who doesn’t love a good chuckle while gaming?
What to Read Next
Currently, British stand-up comedy is experiencing a massive resurgence. Our featured comedian, Peter Kay, is bringing back his “Better Late Than Never” tour with monumental stadium performances throughout the summer and into 2026. The country is practically obsessed with him; you can find our review of the show in the magazine.
Pre-order British Comedy Legends
Most popular podcasts, talk shows, and casual entertainment programs are usually hosted by comedians. This doesn’t even touch upon the bustling comedy circuit: It’s likely that within a 10-mile radius of your home, there’s a weekly comedy event featuring up-and-coming talents or well-known headliners. Many of these events can provide you an enjoyable night out for as little as ten pounds.
We’re honoring 25 British comedy greats in a special tribute! You’ll find exclusive chats with stars such as Jimmy Carr, Al Murray, Nish Kumar, Richard Blackwood, Phil Wang, Jenny Eclair, and Guz Khan, along with their biographies, reviews, best jokes compilations, and other engaging content spread across 100 entertaining pages.
We’re extremely pleased with this piece and we hope you’ll savor reading it as much as we did creating it. Starting from 17 April, you can pick it up at your local newsstands, or pre-order it now for only £7.99 (which covers the shipping costs)!
