Steel Seed Delayed Until Later This Month for Optimisation
ESDigital and developer Storm in a Teacup have revealed that the release of their upcoming stealth-action adventure, Steel Seed, will be slightly postponed from its initial date of the 10th of April. This delay spans twelve days to allow the team to perfect and optimize the game for consoles as stated in their press release.
Ever since the game was announced, your enthusiasm has been nothing short of motivating, and we understand how eagerly you’ve been waiting for an immersive journey into a grim sci-fi universe across all devices. Therefore, in the spirit of transparency, Ilia Svanidze, Head of ESDigital Marketing, shared that during platform certification tests, we encountered some technical challenges with adapting the game to various platforms.
Instead of releasing the console version in a hurry and possibly offering an unsatisfactory user experience that would necessitate quick fixing, we’ve chosen to make a tough but essential decision: delaying the launch. Our aim is to provide an immaculate and smooth gameplay for all players, regardless of platform. We are dedicated to providing our players with the best possible gaming experience. This extra time will enable us to fine-tune and perfect every version before release, ensuring they meet the high standards we believe you deserve.
Exploring the adventure of protagonist Zoe and her flying drone companion KOBY as they embark on a crucial mission to explore a potentially dangerous subterranean complex in pursuit of the solution to humanity’s survival, the game Steel Seed will make its debut for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC on the 22nd of April.
