Natasha Cassidy has disclosed an unexpected explanation as to why she remains unmarried to her longtime partner, Marc Humphreys, even after almost a decade of engagement.
In 2014, an actress from EastEnders, then aged 41, started dating a BBC camera operator. They became engaged the following year, and in 2016 they had a daughter named Joanie.
She is also mother to Eliza, 14, from a previous relationship.
However, even though they’ve been together for more than ten years, these lovebirds have yet to arrange their wedding, as explained by Natalie in her interview with the Mirror.
She mentioned that it could be quite pleasant, doesn’t it? Yet, it’s rather challenging. We’re constantly occupied and agree to many requests, but it would be refreshing to ponder over the idea.
Later on, Natalie admitted that while she aspires to marry someday, she will consistently put her professional commitments ahead of organizing a wedding celebration.

If attractive prospects come your way, it’s difficult to refuse them. However, I think you could manage your schedule better since EastEnders is quite an extensive production; you need to organize things accordingly.
The couple met as Marc works a cameraman on EastEnders.
During the soap special, “Secrets From The Square,” there was an opportunity for the audience to catch a peek at the usually backstage figure, Marc.
2020 saw a pause in the airing of the show for the initial time in its 35-year run, as a result of the ongoing global pandemic.
It was replaced with a spin off show that looked back at classic episodes.
During one episode, viewers were left shocked as Marc made a surprise cameo.
As the show’s host Stacey Dooley playfully commented about the cast and crew being too near for social distancing guidelines, Adam Woodyatt, who plays Ian Beale, humorously made a relevant remark.
Adam quipped: ‘He’s with Nat,’ going on to joke that’s the only reason they were friends.

He added: ‘We don’t actually mean it. We can’t stand Marc.
‘But we have to be nice to him because he’s with Nat.’
Visibly shocked, Stacey exclaimed: ‘Oh, are you? You’re Sonia’s husband? Oh, that’s amazing.’
During the filming of the docuseries, it was only Marc who made appearances, with Natalie remaining at home throughout all 14 episodes.
