Shirley Ballas Stuns in Yellow Swimsuit and Dives into Freezing Plunge Pool!

On Thursday, Shirley Ballas playfully showed off her cheerful disposition by frolicking at home and later daringly taking a plunge into an icy cold bath.

As a lifestyle expert, I’d rephrase it like this: In my latest Instagram post, I, a 64-year-old style icon, gracefully glided down my staircase in a trendy yellow swimsuit, setting the rhythm with Roy Orbison’s classic hit, Oh, Pretty Woman.

She matched her swimsuit with a black, open-weave beach kimono and boosted her height using gold platform sandals.

To complete her stylish ensemble, Shirley added a chic black hat, large sunglasses, and hoop earrings adorned with gold, as she strolled towards her garden.

Afterward, the video transitioned to show Shirley confidently walking toward the icy bath. She paused there, taking multiple deep breaths in preparation for the frigid water ahead.

The ballroom dancer looked shocked as she eased herself into the water and lowered her arms in.

She playfully teased about her elegant icy bath ritual, humorously tagging it as follows on her entertaining post: “I prefer an heel and a hat while soaking in my icy bath every day (laughter emoji)… @BrassMonkeyIce

Earlier this month, I had the pleasure of spending an uncommon day out with my doppelgänger mom, Audrey, in the vibrant city of Liverpool.

The popular TV host and her elderly mother, aged 87, spent quality time with immediate relatives and dear friends at the celebration of Aunt Barbara’s 90th birthday party.

Shirley posted delightful photos on Instagram from her enjoyable vacation, and she looked stylish in a beige trench coat during that event.

She complemented her chic outfit by donning a cream sweater and a vibrant orange-patterned satin scarf. She paired this ensemble with black denim pants and lace-up military boots.

In these photos, it’s clear that Shirley strongly resembles her seldom-encountered mother, Audrey, when they affectionately embraced each other.

Audrey exuded elegance, wearing a tan trench coat and black leggings, and stayed cozy in the chilly weather with a striped scarf wrapped around her neck.

She elevated her stature by donning a pair of black heeled boots and carrying her necessities in a spacious shoulder bag, prior to attending the birthday festivities.

Additionally, Shirley posted photos with her loved ones during the joyous occasion of her aunt Barbara reaching the impressive age of ninety, which everyone came together to honor.

She titled her Instagram photos: “Back from an amazing trip in Liverpool with my mom, relatives, and pals. We celebrated my Aunt Barbara’s 90th birthday.

After sharing details about her health and fitness routine, Shirley disclosed the dietary trick she follows to keep her size 10 physique in check.

According to Shirley, eating three meals a day becomes difficult once you hit your sixties.

She shared with The Sun, “During my first month on the Strictly Come Dancing tour, I added ten pounds to my weight. Then it dawned on me that, at the age of 60, one can’t have breakfast, lunch, and dinner like before!

With the intention of bringing about a change, she chose to forego breakfast and lunch, instead preferring a filling dinner – usually consisting of rice and either lean beef or poultry.

Shirley, having recently ended her engagement with Danny Taylor (age 51), is also known for following an intermittent fasting regimen.

She shared with the press: “I’ve come to understand that my body doesn’t require as much food as I’ve been eating, so I make sure to look after it properly.

I usually don’t eat anything for breakfast, but around noon, I typically drink a juice. Then, between 4 and 5 pm, my mom usually prepares a delicious meal.

Shirley has shared that she received a rice cooker as a gift from her mother during the last Christmas celebration. This new acquisition inspired her to switch her usual salad meals for ones featuring sticky rice with beef stroganoff instead.

Consuming just one meal daily gives you approximately 750 kilocalories, while both men and women require around 2,500 and 2,000 kilocalories each day, respectively, to keep their current weight.

The practice of intermittent fasting, specifically the 18:6 approach, is currently trending as an effective strategy for shedding pounds and maintaining a healthy weight.

Each day, it offers a six-hour period for eating, while the rest of the 18 hours are spent in fasting mode. This aids the body in burning fat.
