Gogglebox star Amy Tapper steps out after revealing her glamorous new look following her impressive 8st weight loss from Mounjaro

Amy Tapper, known for appearing on the show Gogglebox, was recently seen out and about after revealing her stunning transformation. She’s lost 8 stone with the help of the medication Mounjaro.

The 26-year-old TV personality has lost weight, going from a size 26 to a size 18, by taking medication and exercising regularly, and recently showed off her new figure.

Amy was dressed up with a full face of makeup and wavy hair. She paired a sparkly khaki cardigan with leggings and sneakers.

She slung a Gucci bag across her body and held her phone, water bottle, and car keys tightly in her hands.

Oh my gosh, you won’t BELIEVE this! Amy was actually thinking about getting gastric bypass surgery, but then she told us she started getting weight loss injections from her doctor instead! I’m so relieved she found another option, and honestly, I’m so curious about how it’s going for her. I’m following her journey so closely!

As a lifestyle expert, I often see clients experience changes to their skin after significant weight loss. It’s something that’s totally normal! My client, Amy, has achieved incredible results, but she’s openly shared that she’s considering surgery to address some excess skin. It’s a really honest and brave thing to talk about, and it’s important to remember that it’s often a natural part of the journey.

She told the Daily Mail that losing a significant amount of weight – in her case, eight stone, with more to go – often leaves excess skin that exercise alone can’t fix.

‘It’s not possible, you know? It’s stones and stones of fat and it’s now just skin.

I’ll likely need surgery on my arms and stomach eventually, but thankfully, my legs are doing alright.

She jokingly added: ‘These little side bad boys are really toning up.’

I’ve been hearing a lot of chatter lately about celebrities and weight loss, and honestly, it’s frustrating. This particular star, who became famous as a teen, is getting unfairly criticized online for using a weight loss injection. People are calling it ‘cheating,’ which is just not okay! She’s actually been very clear that she’s also committed to a regular exercise routine, and that’s something to be celebrated, not questioned. It’s about a holistic approach, and everyone’s journey is different.

It has also helped her try and tone some of the loose skin on her body.

Amy has been working with her personal trainer for five years and finds that going to the gym is a huge mood booster for her, especially when combined with using Mounjaro.

Amy has been taking a 15mg weekly dose since February, which she worked her way up to from 2.5mg.

She lost five pounds in just one week while taking the medication, and after six months, she had lost a total of four stone.

Ealier this week, Amy showed off her glamorous new look and snapped a selfie while out and about.

In addition to losing a significant amount of weight, she debuted a sleek, straight hairstyle instead of her typical curls and accessorized with a nose stud.

Amy playfully wrote ‘Oh hey, me again!’ in a post while running errands, shielding her eyes with dark sunglasses from inside her car.

At just 13 years old, she began appearing on Gogglebox alongside her family: her mother Nikki, father Jonathan, and brother Josh, who is 27.

Amy is working with the online pharmacy Chemist4U to take back the phrase ‘eat less, move more.’ This comes after a recent study found that 70% of people using weight loss medication feel they are judged for it.

DJ Fat Tony created a new house music track, appropriately titled ‘Already Doing It,’ for the campaign, and Amy appears in the accompanying music video.

Amy has been publicly documenting her weight loss journey, and many of her followers have praised her as inspiring. However, she’s also received negative and critical comments online.

Sadly, the scrutiny has caused considerable damage to Amy’s mental health.

Oh my gosh, you would NOT believe what she said on Good Morning Britain last month! She got all emotional and said, basically, that she knows she’s strong – like, she can dish it out to herself way harder than anyone else could ever say anything about her. It was SO powerful, honestly. She’s just incredible!

Honestly, it definitely gets to me. I’m not some kind of superhero, and while I try to stay strong and confident, after pouring so much effort into things, sometimes all I can do is laugh. It’s just… a release, you know?

She explained that online harassment disrupts her peace of mind, and the common advice to ‘eat less and move more’ feels like a pointed insult.

If you’re combining exercise with weight loss medication, it’s a really effective combination, so I’m not sure what the concern is.

She urged others not to place too much power in the opinion of others.

‘I think you’re doomed if you do and doomed if you don’t so why not just do it?’ she concluded.

Chemist4U has started a big campaign to fight bullying, working with the National Bullying Helpline. They’ve teamed up with DJ Fat Tony and TV personality Amy Tapper to give a positive spin to the phrase ‘eat less, move more,’ often used in harmful ways.
