Christina Hendricks Stuns in Polka Dot Dress at Series Mania Festival with Husband
On Wednesday, I was utterly awestruck witnessing the radiant Christina Hendricks gracefully stepping out at the Series Mania Festival‘s sixth day, accompanied by her beloved husband George Bianchini, in the enchanting city of Lille, France. She simply took my breath away!
As I stood there, heart pounding, my eyes were drawn to the radiant sight before me – the actress herself, 49 and more stunning than ever, graced the vibrant purple carpet in an exquisite black long-sleeved dress, its polka dot pattern twinkling like stars under the spotlight. By her side, her cinematographer partner, a perfect match indeed. The scene was pure magic, a testament to their shared passion for art and cinema.
The outfit, too, showcased a narrowed waistline and a high split at the legs, and to further elongate her silhouette, the actress from Mad Men donned a pair of white high-heeled shoes.
With a curled bob styled from her fiery red tresses, Christina accessorized her ensemble with a sleek black handbag.
George cut a sharp figure, sporting a smart dark grey suit consisting of a jacket and pants, complemented by a crisp white shirt and sleek black dress shoes.
The occurrence transpired subsequent to Christina sharing details about George’s alleged alien encounter during the production of her latest TV show, Small Town, Big Story, in Ireland.
On The Jonathan Ross Show, she mentioned that they traveled to Dublin to prepare for filming. At the time, her future spouse was standing outside, anticipating the delivery of a mattress to their home.
George suddenly appeared, looking pale like a spirit, and I inquired, “What’s going on?” To which he responded, “I don’t think you’ll believe it – I just spotted an unidentified flying object!
‘I know this man so well and I looked at his face and I’m like ‘he saw a UFO’.’
Last year, Christina and George exchanged wedding vows at Napoleon House located within the French Quarter, following their engagement in the year 2023.
In conversation with Jonathan, she shared her thoughts, saying: “We’d been discussing marriage and came across an article showing many lesbian couples proposing to each other. It all looked incredibly charming and equitable.
‘I thought “I want to be able to do it too” so he said “lets do that but I want to go first”.
‘Even though we proposed to each other, he proposed first.’
The duo crossed paths while working on the crime comedy-drama series titled “Good Girls,” where Hendricks played a role between the years 2018 and 2021.
Christina, who was wedded to actor Geoffrey Arend from 2009 to 2019, has shared sentiments expressing that being with George makes her feel extraordinarily valuable, almost as if she’s worth a million dollars.
She mentioned that we have similar preferences, as we tend to enjoy the same activities, share a liking for similar environments, foods, music, and humor.
He continually makes me happy, and he consistently encourages me by saying that I can accomplish anything I truly want and that he has faith in my abilities.
Christina hinted at the potential for a Mad Men reunion, expressing her eagerness to return to her character if given the opportunity.
For a period of eight years, the actress played Joan Holloway on the drama series, which concluded in the year 2015.
She mentioned that it was an exceptional decade for her, almost like a dream. Despite our family being somewhat dysfunctional, we manage to stay connected. We exchange texts regularly, catch up during holidays, and occasionally keep tabs on each other’s lives.
Instead of continuously partying, we held an exceptional farewell bash that lasted throughout the entire night. We booked an entire hotel where each guest retired to their separate rooms. After such a lengthy period together, it was difficult for us to bid our farewells.
When asked if she had taken any souvenirs from the set, Christina answered with a smile, “If it wasn’t permanently attached, I picked it up!
One interesting aspect of that series is that many of its artifacts are preserved at the Smithsonian. In fact, some of the costumes from the show continue to be displayed at various exhibitions even today.
‘I’ve got some ash trays and I took a piece of art, a few things that were in Joan’s apartment.’
Later on, Christina shared her thoughts about possibly rejoining the franchise, stating: “In an instant! It’s been quite some time now, as we all have moved on to various projects. But you never know!
‘I think we all have a love for it. If they wanted a reunion, I’d bet we’d all come back.’
