In the fifth installment of “Only Murders in the Building,” Renée Zellweger is set to be another high-profile addition to the ensemble cast.
According to the official social media posts, the actress from Bridget Jones has been added to the cast that already includes Christoph Waltz and Keegan-Michael Key for the upcoming instalment of Hulu’s comedy-mystery series. This show follows a team of podcasters and amateur detectives.
The announcement was styled similar to the one for Avengers: Doomsday, where Renee Zellweger’s name was displayed on a chair in an empty studio, just like the roles of Waltz and Keys. However, it is still unclear what role Zellweger will play.
It’s clear that she’ll interact with the primary trio consisting of Charles-Haden Savage (performed by Steve Martin), Oliver Putnam (Martin Short), and Mabel Mora (portrayed by Selena Gomez). They will persist in their detective work, operating from the Arconia as their headquarters.
