Pamela Anderson vs Calista Flockhart: Makeup-Free Showdown
Two years following her promise to forgo cosmetics, Pamela Anderson confidently showcased her natural complexion at a gathering in New York City on Wednesday evening.
57-year-old actress, famously known for her role in Baywatch, graced the 45th Annual NYWIFT Muse Awards held at the popular venue Cipriani’s, following her recent significant film part.
She was recognized as a pioneer alongside Marissa Bode, a renowned actress from the musical Wicked, and Amy Entelis, a prominent figure at CNN Worldwide, after being nominated for a Golden Globe for her role in Sofia Coppola’s film The Last Showgirl.
In a stylish muted brown suit (jacket and skirt), Anderson accessorized elegantly with black heeled sandals, a designer handbag, and completed the look for the starry event.
Her long, wavy golden locks cascaded down her back, while her delicate fringes were gently parted to one side.
Anderson’s excursion took place not long ago, following allegations against another high-profile actress of supposedly imitating Anderson’s daring, natural-looking appearance.

At the recent 30th Anniversary Gala of The New Group held at Cipriani Wall Street in Manhattan, it was none other than Calista Flockhart, aged 60, who graced the event without makeup.
According to a source, it was reported last week that Flockhart, who is presently married to Harrison Ford, has been associating with Pamela Anderson in a manner that could be likened to riding on her fame or popularity.
The source remarked, ‘It appears that Calista is blatantly imitating what Pammy has been doing, merely capitalizing on the current fad to generate attention.’
1. “Pammy has been receiving much praise for her acting lately, while Calista doesn’t seem to compare in terms of acting talent that Pam displayed in ‘The Last Showgirl.'”
2. “People have been raving about Pammy’s acting skills recently, but Calista falls short compared to the level of talent Pam demonstrated in ‘The Last Showgirl.'”
3. “Pammy has been garnering a lot of acclaim for her performances lately, whereas Calista doesn’t seem to hold a candle to Pam’s acting abilities as shown in ‘The Last Showgirl.'”
4. “Recently, there’s been plenty of buzz about Pammy’s acting skills, but Calista seems unable to match the talent Pam displayed in ‘The Last Showgirl.'”
5. “In terms of acting, Pammy has been getting a lot of positive attention recently, while Calista is no match for the level of skill Pam demonstrated in ‘The Last Showgirl.'”
Last year, Anderson assumed the principal position in the production titled “The Last Showgirl,” a move that garnered her a nomination for a Golden Globe award.
Previously, she publicly shared her choice to forego makeup while on camera, and later confessed to Entertainment Tonight that this decision was originally a trial.
She went on saying, “I began by gradually uncovering layers, as a means to recall my true identity.
As a lifestyle aficionado, I’ve always found myself immersed in character-driven roles, both on and off the screen. However, it’s crucial for me to clarify that while I enjoy embodying characters in my professional endeavors, I prefer to live authentically, not as a character, but as myself in my personal life.

The Baywatch actress shared with the media, “I simply wish to be authentic, so this is an exploration. It’s merely something that resonates deeply within me – I never imagined it would attract attention!
In an earlier conversation with People, Pamela expressed joy that her bare-faced appearance took on a meaningful and uplifting connotation.
In simpler terms, the celebrity shared thoughts on getting older, stating that she prefers to think of it as ‘living’, not aging. She believes that pursuing youth is pointless. Instead, she suggests accepting ourselves at this very moment and being content with our current position.
Anderson expressed, “Now I no longer need to pretend to be cool. I can simply be myself. It feels incredibly liberating to embrace my authentic self.
Earlier this year, Flockhart relocated to New York City for a stage production called “Curse of the Starving Class,” which stars Christian Slater. Meanwhile, her spouse, Harrison Ford, continues to reside in Los Angeles.
As a die-hard admirer, I can’t contain my excitement about the upcoming Off-Broadway show by none other than the brilliant Sam Shepard! This masterpiece will be gracing the stage at the enchanting Romulus Linney Courtyard Theatre – an event I simply cannot miss!
The foundation of this drama revolves around: ‘On a rural farmstead in the American West, a family battles for autonomy and swift financial gain.’
In simpler terms, ‘Weston, a man struggling with alcoholism and wandering from place to place, urgently tries to settle past financial obligations. Meanwhile, his unfaithful wife, Ella, intends to sell their family home, take the children and depart. Just as their farmhouse symbolizes, the ideal of the American Dream is crumbling before them.’ (Adapted from Playbill)
During a recent interview with Vogue, Calista opened up about temporarily re-locating to NYC.

“It feels wonderful to be back in New York again – it stirs up old memories. I adore the vibrant atmosphere of this city. Moreover, the work environment here keeps me going. To be honest, I find the task of navigating and understanding this place invigorating rather than tiring.
When she’s off-stage, the actress mentioned that she spends a significant amount of time cooking, taking her dogs for walks, visiting museums to pass her time, appreciating each day, and catching up on sleep before the evening performance.
According to a different source, Flockhart appears to be thriving during her stay in New York City (Big Apple).
The informant mentioned that Harrison is making an effort to avoid being overly dependent, yet he plans to contact Calista every evening.
Later on, they stated that it seems fair to assume he misses her significantly more than she does him. To put it another way, it might be accurate to say that she is thriving without the responsibilities that come with being Mrs. Ford.
Calista Flockhart is primarily recognized for playing the lead role on the Fox TV show Ally McBeal, for which she won a Golden Globe Award in 1998.
