Adele makes a rare public appearance with her son Angelo, 13, to watch Justin Bieber’s Coachella set

Adele was spotted at Coachella this weekend, enjoying Justin Bieber’s performance with her son, Angelo. It was a rare public outing for the singer.

The singer, 37, cut a low-key figure as she walked around the festival in a relaxed black suit.

I saw her heading to the Justin concert on Saturday night – she looked amazing! She paired her outfit with the cutest ballet flats and really pulled it all together with some bold gold earrings. It was awesome seeing Justin headline, and she looked fantastic in the crowd!

Adele shares Angelo, 13, with her ex husband Simon Konecki who she got divorced from back in 2021.

The star wasn’t joined by her sports agent partner Rich Paul, 45, in Palm Springs for the festival.

The last time Adele was photographed with her boyfriend, Rich, was during a series of NBA games they went to in Los Angeles last year.

People began speculating about a romantic connection between them after they were seen together at an NBA game in July 2021, and they’ve been a couple ever since.

During her August 2024 concert in Munich, Germany, Adele announced that she is engaged to Paul.

In fan-taken footage, one of Adele’s fans held up a sign that read: ‘Will you marry me?’

Adele received the proposal but kindly turned it down, explaining that she was already engaged. She thanked the person for the offer, but let them know marriage wasn’t possible.

As a huge Bieber fan, I was so excited for his Coachella performance, but honestly, it was a bit of a letdown. He showed up in a hoodie and seemed to just play tracks from his laptop – it didn’t feel like the big comeback we were all hoping for. It just didn’t have that live energy I expect from him.

Fans were thrilled to see the headliner perform, and jokingly started calling the festival ‘Bieberchella’ because they’d been eagerly awaiting his return to the stage.

Instead of a spectacular comeback, the star’s performance left some fans feeling let down. Many called it uninspired, and discussion focused on his unusual stage setup and emphasis on newer songs.

Sabrina Carpenter, the first headliner of the day, delivered a refined and visually engaging performance, complete with multiple costume changes and a well-designed stage setup.

Before the concert, fans were eager to hear Justin Bieber perform his classic songs. However, he only played brief portions of them while singing along to videos on YouTube.

The 32-year-old singer has unexpectedly performed at the festival four times, joining artists like Ariana Grande, Chance the Rapper, Daniel Caesar, and Tems during their sets.

He headlined a late-night performance on the second day of the festival this year, and sources say he earned $10 million for it.

One fan expressed strong disappointment, saying they couldn’t understand spending a lot of money to see Justin Bieber perform poorly and appear casually dressed. They felt it disrespected his audience.

People expressed strong dislike for the band’s appearance and music, calling it low-quality. There was also criticism over Justin Bieber reportedly receiving a $10 million payment simply for appearing on stage.

One viewer suggested this is what happens when an artist sells off their older music and is left relying on a recent album that hasn’t gained much attention.

One person noticed a huge contrast between their own simple performance and Sabrina Carpenter’s incredibly energetic show the night before.

One fan playfully told Justin Bieber his performance wasn’t quite hitting the mark, while another was more critical, questioning how he was headlining Coachella with just a microphone and a Macbook.

Many people strongly disliked his performance, with some calling it the worst in the festival’s history. Others criticized the large payment he received and asked for a show with the same quality as past headliners.
