Ed O’Neill Goes Viral on TikTok with Daughter

This week, the main actor from popular sitcoms like Married With Children and Modern Family, Ed O’Neill, surprisingly became a trending topic on TikTok.

78-year-old veteran actor participated with his daughter Claire in a funny video clip where they mimed along to the explicit opening of Tupac’s 1996 hit “Hit Em Up.

He was situated at her back during the short video clip, donning an apricot-hued newsboy cap with a dark border, and black-framed spectacles.

Claire, with an impressive 123,000 followers on the platform, found it hard to suppress her giggles while performing alongside her father in the skit.

She donned a brown, leather coat and gathered her dark, curly locks into an elegant bun, leaving loose strands to frame her face. The caption on the post stated: ‘This was his suggestion.’

O’Neill’s Modern Family co-star was among the entertained TikTok viewers. 

Instead of writing in all caps, ‘I AM SCREAMINGGGGG,’ with three crying-laughing emojis, she chose to express herself in the comments using exclamation marks and those same emojis.

The comment has so far racked up a whopping 600,000 likes from other tickled fans.

Besides Claire (whose exact age isn’t specified), it’s worth noting that Ed, like Catherine Rusoff, who is 71 years old, also has a daughter named Sophia together, suggesting a long-term relationship.

It seems her family keeps a low profile, and her social media presence is more subdued than a moonless night. Yet, it’s only on TikTok where her radiant spirit truly comes to life!

At that specific location, she sometimes uploads humorous voice recordings and tends to keep details about her daily routines private.

Last summer, the young woman accompanied her well-known father on a public outing, as they both walked the red carpet at the premiere of his FX show, Clipped.

On that memorable event, I donned a stylish, off-the-shoulder black gown paired with a coordinating handbag.

To mark the special moment, I adorned myself in an elegant, off-the-shoulder black dress and matched it with a complementary clutch.

Over time, Ed has been rather quiet when discussing his modest family. However, in 2020, he amusingly recounted an incident involving his elder daughter, Sophia, encountering Leonardo DiCaprio.

On The Ellen DeGeneres Show, he reminisced about a conversation where he said, “I want to dine at Rao’s for Father’s Day.” Upon hearing this, his older daughter Sophia expressed concern because it was far away from their home in Santa Monica. She suggested they could celebrate locally instead, but he insisted on Rao’s, explaining that he preferred it.

He went on to say, ‘We had placed our order, and she was engrossed in her phone. Suddenly, it seemed as if a wave of concern washed over her. To be honest, I thought something must have gone awry for her. I asked, “What seems to be the problem?”, to which she replied quietly, “Be quiet!”‘

Later on, I spun around and there was a group approaching, settling close by. It turned out to be none other than Leonardo DiCaprio himself. Since her adolescence, my little girl has harbored a deep admiration for him ever since Romeo + Juliet, so she was absolutely thrilled about it. This is what O’Neill shared with Ellen as the talk show host.

Eventually, the actor who played on the Titanic warmly welcomed Ed and his kin. It was the star from Married With Children who presented Sophia.

In my own words, I shared that we stepped outdoors, only for her eyes to widen with sheer amazement – almost as if she had lost consciousness in the presence of stardom, which was a heartwarming sight to behold, regarding my daughter’s enchanted reaction.
