WIND AND SEA Fashions the ‘Final Fantasy XIV’ Universe
As a passionate gamer, I’m thrilled to share that the creative mind behind WIND AND SEA, Takashi Kumagai, has teamed up with Square Enix’s epic online role-playing game, Final Fantasy XIV, to design a line of apparel that pays homage to this beloved gaming series.
This brand offers a collection that includes hoodies, t-shirts, and tote bags themed around classic WIND AND SEA games. The items feature distinctive graphics and illustrations inspired by game characters. The Japanese streetwear label’s graffiti-style writing can be seen alongside the Square Enix logo on hoodies, while t-shirts combine the brand’s name with images of Final Fantasy’s Clockwork Novus D and various animal heads from the game. Totes showcase the MMORPG’s signature imagery in both grey and black versions.

The recent partnership marks another step in the WIND AND SEA universe, featuring a joint venture with the renowned audio equipment company, Audio-Technica, along with an assortment of jointly designed products tied to the iconic American rock group, Grateful Dead.
On March 25, you’ll be able to purchase the WIND AND SEA collection from Final Fantasy XIV online. Additionally, it will also be available for purchase this weekend at the brand’s Isetan Shinjuku pop-up store. Check out the gallery above to see what’s included in the lineup.
