Final Destination: Bloodlines new trailer reveals first look at Tony Todd’s final movie role

The new trailer for “Final Destination: Bloodlines” offers a sneak peek at Tony Todd’s last film appearance before his passing.

In this fresh installment, after 14 years since its last appearance and being the sixth one altogether, the movie depicts a new group of characters pursued by death, with a college student attempting to break the vicious cycle.

The chilling preview depicts a tragic turn of events at a family barbecue, where college student Stefanie is informed by her grandmother that she too has the power to foresee disasters, having done so in the past and thus saving lives.

She comments, “Death dislikes interruptions to its design,” then hands her granddaughter a book that might shield their kin from harm.

Stefanie says to her family, “We weren’t meant to be here, and eventually death will find us,” but William Bludworth counters with the advice, “You can only evade death if you accept it.

In his last film appearance after his passing last year, the actor takes on the role marked by Bloodlines, having portrayed Bludworth in almost every prior installment.

As a gamer, I’m excited to share that some familiar faces from the small screen are joining the cast of this movie. Brec Bassinger from Stargirl, Kaitlyn Santa Juana from Dear Evan Hansen, Teo Briones, Richard Harmon, Anna Lore, Owen Patrick Joyner, Max Lloyd-Jones, Rya Kihlstedt, and Tinpo Lee are all set to shine in this production.

Last month, a teaser for the upcoming sequel was unveiled, featuring the gruesome death scene of a tattoo artist.

Zach Lipovsky and Adam B Stein are helming the movie titled “Bloodlines“, penned by Lori Evans Taylor and Guy Busick. Notably, this film is slated to be the longest installment in the “Final Destination” series.

In the United Kingdom, “Final Destination: Bloodlines” is set to premiere on May 14, while it will hit the screens in the U.S. two days later, on May 16. For those with a Netflix subscription in the UK, you can currently stream films 1-3 and 5 from the Final Destination series.
