Happiest Ever After Split, Health Scare, and New Romance!

Fearne Cotton has shared that she is as happy as she’s ever been, expressing enthusiasm about embracing life after her separation from her former spouse, Jesse Wood.

43-year-old television host declared her separation from Jesse, who’s the son of Rolling Stones bassist Ronnie Wood, in December, following a decade of matrimony.

Since then, she has taken jabs at Jesse and started dating TV director Elliot Hegarty. The two have been spotted sharing a kiss during a recent social outing.

Apart from dealing with the challenges of her breakup with Jesse, Fearne has been going through some tough times lately as well. This is due to her recent surgery where they took out two non-cancerous growths from her jaw area, which occurred mere days before news about their separation became public.

Currently, it appears Fearne has subtly hinted at her former spouse once more, expressing her joy and contentment – stating this is the happiest she’s ever felt – in an upbeat post.

On Scott Mills’ BBC Radio 2 breakfast show, I shared my delight, expressing that I’m genuinely elated each day. In fact, I find myself bouncing out of bed every morning, brimming with enthusiasm for the day ahead.

In a conversation, after knowing Fearne for 25 years, Scott expressed that he’s never witnessed her “looking more optimistic or joyful.” This remark led Fearne to concur and respond with enthusiasm: “Absolutely! I’m feeling fantastic!

She explained that her health crisis had shifted her perspective and admitted that she’s found solace in Davina McCall, who underwent the removal of a benign brain tumor roughly coinciding with Fearne’s surgery.

I’m incredibly joyful, and experiencing something like a health issue really seems to instill a profound sense of appreciation in me. It’s strange because I’ve spoken to Davina quite a bit since our procedures were nearly simultaneous, only a month apart.

We’ve been having numerous wonderful conversations that leave me feeling incredibly thankful for the essentials, and energized enough to leap out of bed each morning with a zest for life. To put it simply, I’m in high spirits! This year looks promising as there are many exciting things happening, so I am eagerly anticipating them.

After experiencing her health issue, Fearne expressed immense gratitude as she hadn’t suspected the lump to be concerning, until discovering it was actually a tumor.

I underwent an ultrasound examination, only to discover unexpectedly that it revealed a tumor – quite a shocking revelation, I must say!

Currently, I’m on cloud nine, incredibly thankful! By the way, if you happen to have any unusual growths or bumps, please don’t forget to get them examined. It’s of utmost importance for your peace of mind.

Initially, I assumed it would be insignificant, but surprisingly, it turned out to be a significant operation. However, I’m currently in good health, feeling fantastic, and incredibly thankful for the excellent care I received.

In the recent past, I underwent a procedure to remove a harmless growth from my body, mere days prior to the news of my separation from my spouse Jesse becoming public knowledge. Together, we are parents to our wonderful sons, Rex, and daughter, Honey.

In a recent online post, the radio host shared that, with great sadness, they and Jesse have decided to part ways in their marriage. They emphasized that their primary concern will always be their kids.

Fearne is additionally the step-parent to Jesse’s kids, Arthur (age 21) and Lola (age 18), who are from his previous marriage with Tilly Wood.

Jesse, aged 48, has parted ways with his ex-partner, Gemma Gregory, who is now a wellness entrepreneur and the host of the Happy Place podcast at 39 years old.

Meanwhile, Fearne is said to have been secretly dating TV director Elliot Hegarty since January.

It was evident that their relationship had begun, as they were spotted deeply kissing during an evening out in Soho, followed by them strolling together, linked arm-in-arm with companions nearby.

The 51-year-old single mother, upon learning that Elliot and Fearne were more than just friends, was reportedly left completely stunned and distraught. A friend shared with the Mail: “It was a terrible way for her to discover this secret, and it has been quite distressing for her.

Recently, Fearne expressed her desire for an exciting spell of amusement and to indulge in social drinking, following the conclusion of her marriage.

In conversation with Women’s Health UK, Fearne humorously expressed that she feels she’s missed out on enjoying life more due to her past relationship with her former husband.

She expressed: “For the last 12 years, I’ve been a mother and have created Happy Place, an award-winning podcast and wellness festival. I wish to continue both roles, but I find myself longing for simple enjoyment.

In my 40s now, I’m yearning for a more lively experience; catching up with friends, hosting luncheons at home, preparing meals for all, going out for small evenings and dinners, without fretting too much about the late hours.

As I enter my 40s, I’m seeking more excitement; spending time with pals, inviting them over for lunches at my place, cooking up a storm, going out for evenings and dinners, and not worrying so much about getting home late.

For quite some time, the pair have apparently encountered difficulties, with Fearne openly acknowledging in 2019 that their union had been struggling.

In the past, Fearne mentioned that Jesse’s busy touring schedule with the band Reef had placed pressure on their relationship, causing them to hold tightly onto their marriage in a heartfelt interview.

Fearne and Jesse got married in July 2014, which was three years after they began dating. They initially crossed paths during a party in Ibiza, the following year after Jesse’s separation from his former wife, Tilly.
