Atari Releases Breakout Beyond Launch Trailer
Atari unveiled a debut trailer for their latest title, Breakout Beyond, which draws upon its timeless roots.
Breakout Beyond” is essentially a revamped version of the classic arcade game, featuring a stunning graphical update and numerous fresh gameplay modes.
As a passionate gamer, I’ve been thoroughly impressed by Atari’s recent endeavors. They’ve been delving deep into their own past and the rich history of gaming, which makes sense given their significant role in shaping this world we love.
The game’s official description reads:
In this thrilling modern take on the 1976 arcade original, players demolish obstacles as they go, aiming to uncover hidden paths and reach the objective. In this updated version, players blast through the screen diagonally, tasked with breaking through walls while linking combos that escalate the excitement with spectacular visuals.
In this game, there are 72 difficult stages where you’ll demonstrate your brick-breaking prowess. If you find it tough going on your own, don’t worry! You can partner with a friend in local two-player cooperative mode, doubling the fun, or use the new focus function that slows down time, allowing for greater precision at the expense of high scores.
Breakout Beyond is out today, on consoles and PC.
