Gangs of London season 3 spoilers follow.
Ṣọpẹ́ Dìrísù, a star from “Gangs of London,” shares insights on the sad departure of a crucial cast member during the third season of the Sky crime series.
In the most recent season, character Sean Wallace (portrayed by Joe Cole) met his end in the second episode. Regarding Cole’s unexpected departure from the series, the showrunner, Dìrísù, expressed that it will be a significant absence, referring to it as a “major loss.
In a private conversation with Digital Spy, the actor shared that our on-set “Gang” family feels incredibly close because of the deep connections we’ve formed.
Additionally, Joe stood out as well since our history goes back to our time at the National Youth Theatre in Great Britain.

It’s clear that there’s an unresolvable issue between Elliot and Sean, but learning that Joe won’t appear in the series any longer was genuinely sad.
It’s evident that Elliot and Sean have a dispute they can’t seem to overcome, but discovering that Joe will no longer be featured in the series left me feeling quite sad.
He stated: “Since we’re all human, it’s natural for us to evolve, explore new experiences, and change paths. Yet, there’s a void left by his departure.
Dirisu too voiced his regret for missing out on bidding farewell to Cole during the final day of shooting.

The star stated, “I didn’t attend the event,” and if they had been there, they would have liked to acknowledge his performance. However, it appeared that the incident was a tribute to the performer’s contributions to the show thus far. He is an exceptional actor, a fantastic individual, so his departure will be deeply felt.
Speaking about the remainder of the most recent season, the actor portraying Elliot revealed which character’s storyline he thought fans would be eagerly anticipating.
As a gamer immersed in the storyline, I can’t wait to see how the players respond to the trials and tribulations faced by Narges Rashidi’s character, Lale, this year.

Additionally, the actor confessed that he struggled to rewatch Rashidi’s performances in season two, specifically mentioning the scene where Lale battles to escape Asif’s compound, ultimately being handed back over by Sean. He expressed this as: “One of the sequences I found tough to revisit was when Rashidi was in, where her character fights to break free from Asif’s property, but ends up being returned by Sean.
“Aw man, that was a betrayal like I’d never seen on TV before. That will cut deep.”
Starting March 20th, I’ll be able to binge-watch all eight thrilling episodes of Gangs of London season 3, right here on Sky Atlantic and NOW’s streaming platform! Can’t wait!
