Stacey Solomon & Joe Swash: No Millions for Kids, Learn to Earn!
As a die-hard fan, I can’t help but echo Stacey Solomon‘s fervent belief: my spouse, Joe Swash, and I are committed to instilling in our brood of six the vital lesson of earning their own dough.
The TV duo jointly care for Rex (5), Rose (3), and Belle (2), while Stacey is the mother of Zachary (17) and Leighton (12) from past relationships, and Joe has a son named Harry (16) with his former partner.
As their upcoming family reality series on BBC One approaches, the couple has shared the guidelines they enforce for their children.
Stacey, aged 35 with an estimated net worth of £5 million, shared that her kids earn their allowance by completing chores around Pickle Cottage, and when they grow up, they’ll need to forge their own paths in life.
As a lifestyle expert, I personally don’t have the luxury of inherited wealth that can be passed down through generations. It’s crucial for everyone to understand that my career is what sustains me and my family, and I will always find ways to support them. However, it’s equally important to remember that they are individuals in their own right, with unique paths to follow.
Stacey, known for her rise to stardom as a young mother on The X Factor, also mentioned that her father, a photographer by profession, emphasized the significance of self-sufficiency financially in her upbringing.
She shared that her father never distinguished between us growing up, but once we started earning from jobs, we were expected to chip in. The thought of earning my own cash and achieving financial freedom thrilled me, and I hope the same enthusiasm will be there for my kids as well.
I aim for them to have a broad sense of personal satisfaction and overall well-being, encompassing feelings of achievement and possessions.
In the flow of daily existence, abstaining from desiring anything seems nearly impossible. I wouldn’t wish for anyone to be stuck in such a state, as I believe everyone deserves to have their needs met and desires fulfilled.
Stacey’s remarks resonate with those made by Spencer Matthews from the show “Made in Chelsea,” who has expressed a preference for his children not growing up as individuals relying on trust funds.
Previously known from Made in Chelsea, the 36-year-old individual is the offspring of wealthy Eden Rock hotelier, David Matthews. His education took place at Eton College, which presently charges around £63,000 annually for tuition.
Yet, the star insists on instilling financial independence in his offspring by letting them understand that they will have to generate their income independently, as he clarified that he won’t be passing along all his wealth to his kids.
Last year, Stacey’s oldest child, Zachary, successfully completed his high school exams (GCSEs). Since then, he has been honing his skills to become a mechanic, a fact that Stacey shared on her Instagram account during the summer months.
Moreover, Zach not only graced our television screens but also assisted his mother in her popular BBC home improvement show, Sort Your Life Out. Furthermore, he managed to secure a brief role in the soap opera Hollyoaks, sharing the screen with his brother Leighton earlier this year.

And the teenager will be back on screens next week in the new family reality show.
Stacey and Joe secured a profitable agreement with the BBC for their new program following the discovery by the executives that Stacey, a prominent figure on Loose Women, has gained significant popularity.
I’m absolutely over-the-moon ecstatic about the triumph of her show, “Sort Your Life Out.” Each episode finds her and her team working wonders, turning families’ houses into dream homes that bring a fresh start to their lives.
Within the organization, it’s being whispered that higher-ups consider her their ‘rising star’ primarily because she is highly relatable.
She also has a huge following, particularly of young viewers which the BBC are so keen to attract.

In addition, the program will feature the pair deliberating over the prospect of having more children, as Joe expresses his feelings of wanting to start a family once more.
He expressed his wish for one more to The Mirror, but Stacey firmly declares she’s finished, humorously adding: “My pelvic floor is in disarray; I can’t go through it again.
Stacey & Joe, airs at 8pm on April 1 on BBC One .
