As a thrilled admirer, I can’t help but share the excitement as Capcom unveils a fresh trailer for the imminent remake of Onimusha 2: Samurai’s Destiny. The game’s visionary director even shares his thoughts in this reveal!
Motohide Eshiro, who was the original game’s director, is also the one responsible for directing the remastered version. He will guide us through some of the new features that have been added to this updated version.
There’s an update to our counter system, giving you the ability to execute consecutive counterattacks in sequence. Eshiro emphasizes that alongside the newly introduced magic attacks and charge attacks, these changes will significantly increase the diversity and strategic depth within the combat system.
From the get-go, you’ll have access to all mini-games and customizable outfits. We’ve also introduced a challenging new game mode called “Hell” mode, where one hit results in your character’s demise.
Additionally, you’ll have the opportunity to immerse yourself in the game’s complete soundtrack, and if you’re a fan of details, you might find it fascinating that you can examine more than a hundred high-definition designs by artist Keita Amemiya, featuring his characters, locations, and creatures.
The action game “Onimusha 2: Samurai’s Destiny” is set to be launched on the 23rd of May, available on PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, and personal computers.
