Nick Viall’s Wife Reveals Another Miscarriage
On a sad note, Natalie Joy, the spouse of former Bachelor contestant Nick Viall, disclosed some distressing information on Sunday. She revealed that she had experienced another miscarriage, not long after her earlier pregnancy loss.
In an emotional Instagram post, Joy, 26, reflected on the unexpected turn of events.
During the sadness of losing our second child early this year, I surprisingly discovered that I was pregnant once more, as she put it in her writing.
She struggled to come to terms with the events that unfolded, yet surprisingly quickly received another opportunity. Over time, she discovered an abundance of joy in her life.
Joy expressed her feelings, stating that she and the ex-Bachelor star had arrived at a point of profound and heartfelt appreciation following the birth of their daughter River Rose in February 2024.
However, she revealed that she lost the baby over the past week.

‘I miscarried again. I underwent a D&C this time, which was harder than I imagined.’
A Dilation and Curettage (D&C) refers to a medical operation aimed at extracting tissue samples from the womb. This procedure is commonly carried out following a miscarriage, abortion, or as a means of treating various other conditions such as excessive menstrual bleeding.
According to Joy, it will ‘take some time’ to feel like herself again.
To be completely transparent with you all, I might not ever manage to do so, but I truly intend to keep you informed and included in any developments related to what might transpire.
She expressed gratitude for Viall and their daughter during this difficult time.
She ended by returning to hug her husband and her precious daughter River Rose, who have been the source of my survival countless times over.
In January, for the first time, Joy and Viall shared details about their heart-wrenching tragedy on a podcast belonging to a former contestant of The Bachelor.
Natalie called the loss one of her ‘biggest’ heartbreaks of her life.
Recently, they learned that the woman is carrying their second baby, but sadly, Natalie disclosed that she had begun experiencing light bleeding which worsened over time, ultimately resulting in a tragic miscarriage in the bathroom.

She declared, “That evening was undoubtedly the most challenging I’ve ever faced. Going through it is an ordeal I wouldn’t want anyone else to endure.” She further expressed her feelings by saying, “I feel as if I’ve lost all life within me.
In her recent podcast episode, Natalie expressed that she’s been striving to be a loving mother to River while fulfilling her responsibilities, whether it’s through the podcast or social media. However, she is currently experiencing a heart-wrenching event as she is going through a miscarriage of our second child, which she described as one of the greatest sorrows in her life.
The star remembered the evening when everything began, following a period where it experienced intermittent bleeds. Over time, these bleeds became increasingly intense.
She said she went to use the restroom to go urinate and ‘it was like I gave birth.’
Natalie was crying and screaming, which led to Nick rush to the bathroom to see if she was okay.
Natalie remarked, “You know what I mean? It’s like, ‘How on earth am I supposed to lift this thing up and toss it in the toilet? How does one even do that?’
Nick revealed that he ‘retrieved’ it, calling it ‘traumatic.’
That evening was undeniably the most challenging of my life. Going through that ordeal is something I wouldn’t want anyone else to endure. Regrettably, I understand many women go through this, and I empathize so deeply with them because I was enraged at my body for not being able to maintain control over it. Essentially, I was thinking, “Why couldn’t you have held on just a little longer?
The brunette mentioned that she subsequently contacted her physician, who informed her that the pregnancy couldn’t survive outside the womb.
It seems to me that the most important thing for healing is holding onto the fact that the doctors have told you that the baby wouldn’t survive no matter what. In other words, knowing that the baby was unviable, it wouldn’t live outside your body, provides a glimmer of hope.

Nick and Natalie married on April 27, 2024, after dating for four years.
They started dating in July 2020, after she slid into her direct messages on Instagram.
In a casual and straightforward manner: ‘He believes that Direct Messages (DMs) are an excellent venue for making new connections. As it turns out, his current partner initially reached out to him via DMs. Quite witty, her message read, “You’re too good to be true.” I suppose it was amusing. However, what truly piqued his interest was why he seemed unreal,’ he explained to E! News in 2022.
In January 2021, the pair confirmed their relationship on Instagram, and they made their first appearance together on the red carpet four months after that.
The couple became engaged in January 2023, and they revealed in August 2023 that she was expecting their first child.
Their daughter River Rose was born on February 2, 2024.
Nick and Natalie married on April 27, 2024 in Georgia and her family’s 200-acre farm.
