Critics are praising the new Disney+ series, Star Wars: Maul – Shadow Lord, which continues the story after The Clone Wars. As of today, it has a perfect 100% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
In the animated series, Sam Witwer returns as the voice of Maul, a powerful Sith lord determined to restore his criminal organization. He travels to the planet Janix in search of a new apprentice to carry out his plans.
Dave Filoni, the creator of the new series Ahsoka and a co-writer for the upcoming movie The Mandalorian and Grogu, launched the show with its first two episodes on Disney+ last week.
Despite having seven more parts still to come before the series concludes on Star Wars Day (May 4th), Star Wars: Maul – Shadow Lord is already receiving rave reviews. Currently, it holds a perfect 100% score on Rotten Tomatoes, based on 36 critic reviews.
