I’m thrilled to share that last year, Nike reintroduced the iconic Air Max Sunder, making it accessible for everyone again. They released numerous colorways, but the ones designed by Kids of Immigrants truly stood out and received several “Sneaker of the Year” accolades. Now, adding to its already impressive style portfolio, Nike (the Swoosh) has unveiled a fresh “Hyper Violet” look for this model.
The initial glimpse of the latest women-only version of the Air Max Sunder reveals a black base adorned by the design’s distinctive rhombus patterns in white, dotted with black. The color gradient “Hyper Violet” starts as a gentle lavender hue on the toe area and deepens to a more intense violet tone towards the heel. Black accents are found on the shoe’s lacing system, tabs, and outsole, while a white midsole completes the design, showcasing an Air unit in the rear portion.
Currently, Nike hasn’t specified the release date for their “Hyper Violet” version of the Air Max Sunder. Keep an eye out for further announcements about its launch since we anticipate it will become available later this year in women’s sizes on Nike SNKRS and selected retailers at a starting price point of $180 USD.
