Influencer Accuses Bras N’ Things of Lifting Design
Notable figure Lily Brown has alleged that a major Australian lingerie company is copying the designs of her small-scale enterprise.
27-year-old YouTube sensation, who gained popularity, chose the ethical path in a situation where Bras N’ Things was accused, though not explicitly identified, of copying her unique robe design.
Despite the letdown of discovering a widely recognized, national brand copying our unique designs, there’s a certain level of flattery involved too, as expressed by Brown in her recent post to her 330k Instagram followers last week.
In 2021, Brown established her cozy little enterprise named Chille, and its star item, the high-end Snug robe, sells for $159 apiece.
The robe she’s wearing is constructed entirely from fleece polyester, stopping at three-quarter length, adorned with an intricate, embossed daisy pattern that leans to one side, and boasting a subtle color scheme of neutral shades, earth tones, and gentle pastels.
In simpler terms, the top Australian lingerie store chain with over 200 locations nationwide introduced an almost identical robe-and-headband pair at just $69.99 – that’s a significant reduction in cost!

Last week, Bras N’ Things introduced the Mila Short Hooded dress, a fleece and polyester garment, offering it in the same color options as the Snug model.
It also has an embossed flower design and has has a matching $15 headband.
Despite starting my tiny, family-owned business during the COVID-19 pandemic without any previous business knowledge or experience, it has significantly expanded and attracted attention from numerous individuals. Now, even large corporations are imitating us – almost feels like a source of pride!” Brown further expressed this in videos posted to her Stories.
Without explicitly mentioning Bras N’ Things by name, Brown implied that they had wronged her, and her followers quickly understood the reference.
If you’re searching for an example of lackluster, mass-produced replication, Bras N Things’ latest endeavor is a perfect fit. In simpler terms, their effort can be described as a low-cost, soul-deficient copy that clearly shouts “hasty money grab”.
‘Poor quality and ripping off a small business,’ another one star review said.
‘They quickly assemble a cheap imitation, assuming consumers won’t spot the discrepancies. However, we can tell and won’t fall for the trick.’

However, the cheaper robe does appear to have a few fans.
This dress is incredibly comfortable, cozy, and snug – it’s one of the best I’ve ever purchased, undoubtedly surpassing all other options on the market.
I’ve just purchased this item, and I must say, it has captured my heart. To be honest, while checking out other options on the market, it was the price that ultimately drew me in (and yes, they have the same material). I wholeheartedly recommend it, and I can’t wait to see it available in more color options!
A third party commented, “The quality is exceptional, surpassing that brand often promoted by influencers as top-notch.
Brown says the quality of her original design is unmatched.
