In the official gameplay trailer for Freja, it has been announced that she will make her appearance in Overwatch 2 during Season 16, which is scheduled for April 22, 2025. This information was shared by Blizzard.

The playtesting session takes place between March 21 and March 24. Given our knowledge of Overwatch 2 update cycles, it’s probable that the Freja trial may continue up until Tuesday, March 25 at 11 a.m. Pacific Time.

Freja’s equipment includes her main weapon, the Revdraw Crossbow, and Take Aim as her secondary fire. Her movement abilities consist of Quick Dash for quick movements and Updraft for flying.
