Chloe Brockett Breaks Silence After Boyfriend Jack Fincham’s Jail Sentence is Overturned

On Friday, Chloe Brockett finally shared her thoughts publicly, marking her initial comments since Jack Fincham was given leniency and avoided imprisonment.

In my experience as a lifestyle expert, I recently found myself in a situation where I had been wrongly convicted of having an unruly pet. I appealed this decision and, fortunately, was successful in overturning the six-week jail sentence that had been imposed upon me.

During an interview, Chloe enthusiastically shared that she was extremely joyful about the result, openly discussing how it affected her mental well-being.

She shared with The Sun, “Instead of performing cartwheels and sipping on Prosecco, I find myself seated at the kitchen table, reflecting, ‘Wow, it’s really over at last.’

Jack accepts full blame for it, but I can’t help feeling that it was completely unfair. To be honest, I never expected something like this to happen, so I was genuinely taken aback. Unfortunately, I didn’t get a chance to say goodbye.

Chloe was absent from the court, an action she acknowledged left her feeling deeply regretful due to concerns for her well-being.

In my personal experience, I found myself feeling quite under the weather, and frankly, the idea of enduring whatever it was filled me with dread. My anxiety told me that I wouldn’t be able to handle it, and perhaps my stress could even exacerbate my condition.

In September 2022, Jack received a sentence in January 2025, following an incident where his dog, Elvis, a black Cane Corso, caused harm to runner Robert Sudell in Swanley, Kent.

In a court appearance that could land him a prison term, the 32-year-old man appeared dejected, lugging an overnight bag. However, once he exited the courthouse, he wore a broad smile and gave a triumphant thumbs up, indicating his sentence had been overturned.

He merely mentioned his name and sported a long, chocolate-hued coat, layered under it was a casual, beige cardigan.

His original 18-month suspended sentence for the drug-driving offense committed in March 2024 was lengthened by an additional three months.

Fincham, who had pleaded guilty to the charge, faced two separate incidents involving his dog.

In the initial event, Mr. Sudell sustained an injury, whereas another occurrence in June 2024 involved a woman having her calf seized; however, no injuries were documented for this incident.

In accordance with the ruling made in the magistrates’ court, Fincham was instructed to make a payment totaling £3,680. This amount includes a £2,000 payment towards kennelling expenses, a fine of £961, and £200 in compensation for Mr Sudell.

According to Richard Cooper, the dog incident in June 2024 transpired as follows: Fincham had recently moved into the property and was carrying boxes from the car when unexpectedly, the dog managed to escape.

In my professional opinion, I regret to share that my initial recommendation from the court was a prison term due to my inability to adhere to the terms set following the first incident. These conditions included keeping Elvis on a leash at all times and ensuring he wore a muzzle.

However, Fincham’s legal team successfully argued that immediate imprisonment was too harsh.

Richard Cooper argued that it was thoughtless, due to carelessness in checking details. He ought to have inquired about the rules before bringing his dog to the pub off-leash.

Mr. Fincham created these issues himself, yet he’s made significant strides all on his own, driven by determination and effort.

Three years ago, he hit the absolute lowest point in his life, jobless. He turned to alcohol and drugs as a coping mechanism on a regular basis.

Despite facing a dry spell in his work, he should be commended for taking action to rectify the situation. He has been proactive and sought help from local council members. He has resorted to a traditional 9-5 job that relies solely on dedication. Additionally, he has rekindled his passion for boxing once again.

As a devoted supporter, I’m thrilled to share that the successful outcome of the appeal means Fincham will evade incarceration. However, this victory comes with stringent conditions concerning Elvis. Among these are ensuring Elvis is consistently muzzled and leashed in public areas, and never leaving him unattended with individuals under the age of 16.

Samanth Leigh made it clear in her decision: ‘We acknowledge that the activation of the held-back sentence wasn’t fair. Instead, we’re extending your suspended sentence by three months. Changing the sentence already given wouldn’t be suitable.’

She cautioned, “Mr. Fincham, be mindful indeed. Remember, it’s not the dog that’s at fault, but rather its owner.
