As a die-hard fan, I can’t help but feel a thrill when hearing that Ṣọpẹ́ Dìrísù, the stellar star of “Gangs of London,” confessed he met his equal during the filming of the season three fight sequences with the talented Andrew Koji. What a fantastic fight scene we’re in for!
In a private conversation with Digital Spy, the actor who plays Elliot shared that facing off against Andrew Koji was quite an encounter.
He’s not only a highly skilled martial artist but also an exceptional actor. Just like I encountered someone who was equally matched against me in a performance, Elliot faced a worthy opponent in the series.
In the third installment of the Sky gangster series, Koji portrays the enigmatic assassin Zeek. Joining him are fresh faces like T’Nia Miller, who plays the role of Mayor of London Simone, and Richard Dormer, cast as the gangster Cornelius.

In simpler terms, during our conversation, Dirisu explained that the fight scene involving his character and Koji’s Zeek is unlike any other experience Elliot has had previously.
“I would say he takes a lot more damage than he has in the series before,” the actor added.
In the latest installment, Dìrísù’s character was further developed by delving deeper into his past than we’ve seen before.

In the third season, we uncover significantly more details about what truly transpired regarding his family. The narrative he shared with Shannon in the first series may not have been entirely truthful, but it contained elements that were true based on what he knew at the time.
In the unveiling of truth, I found myself hesitant to release my grasp on a past that was once familiar, only to embrace one that remains elusive. Leaping into the enigma of an uncertain future is undeniably terrifying, mirroring the challenges my character faces in this series as he embarks on his quest for understanding.

In an interview with Digital Spy, Dirisu shared that he is consistently amazed at where his character’s journey leads this season: “His path never ceases to take me by surprise.
Every year, I’m continually amazed by the lengths he reaches, which enables me to uncover fresh aspects of his personality. By stripping away layers, I can then present this discovery to our viewers.
Beginning March 20th, the complete set of all 8 episodes from Gangs of London season 3 will simultaneously debut on both Sky Atlantic and the online streaming platform NOW.
