Beyond Paradise star brands character “awful” but still says she wants them to return

Actress Barbara Flynn from the series “Beyond Paradise” has expressed a wish for the reappearance of Peter Davison’s character, Peter, even though she finds him rather unappealing.

Next week, the third installment of the “Death in Paradise” spin-off will debut, where Inspector Humphrey Goodman and his investigative crew are ready to delve into a fresh batch of unsolved mysteries.

In anticipation of more tantalizing secrets and suspense, actor Flynn hinted at a potential comeback for character Peter, portrayed by Davison, on the show.

Working alongside Peter Davison on that project was truly an incredible experience for me. You see, Peter and I share a long history that dates back to times long past.

It was a genuine pleasure to learn that he would be taking on the role and interacting with the character I’d be working with.

Many individuals repeatedly expressed to me, “He was a scoundrel and terrible, yet we yearn for his return.” I concur. I believe the character should make a comeback, somehow, in any fashion or guise.

Davison has suggested he might take on his role again, sharing during an interview with Virgin Radio: “Barbara and I brainstormed ideas for continuing the story, and we thought if his character ended up in jail, it could provide an opportunity for a unique romance, similar to some women who form relationships with those incarcerated.

He went on saying: “Ben Miller mentioned that he found the pace of the schedule in ‘Death in Paradise’ quite demanding.

I’m open to taking on new challenges, but just to clarify, I believe there might be a preference for a candidate who is somewhat younger. However, it’s not entirely ruled out.
