Today, Nacon and KT Racing unveiled the third season of “Test Drive Unlimited: Solar Crown,” which includes fresh vehicles, diverse mission options, additional content to explore, and notable enhancements for a smoother gameplay experience.
In races, you now have the option to go it alone or compete against AI opponents of varying difficulties. New mission types, ‘Navigation’ and ‘Convoy,’ have also been introduced. In ‘Navigation,’ your goal is to reach a target before time expires. The ‘Convoy’ mission type harks back to TDU 1 & 2, where you must carefully transport a specific vehicle to the finish line.
In this game setup, both mission types function under a “contract system”, with the specifics tailored to your chosen level of challenge. Factors such as road congestion, weather conditions, travel distance, and vehicle selection can all vary based on your selected difficulty. Additionally, you have the option to buy an array of new vehicles from the in-game dealership, including iconic models like the Aston Martin Valor, Ferrari LaFerrari Aperta, DeLorean DMC-12, and Pininfarina Battista.
In addition, there’s a freshly introduced Solar Pass, which is free and offers 50 tiers of rewards to uncover, along with customizable vehicle plates and new headquarters stores for both the Sharp and Streets clans. The third season of Test Drive Unlimited: Solar Crown, available now on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC, is now live.
