Introduced alongside Mirio and Tamaki, Nejire quickly proves herself as a powerful and promising individual with a brilliant future.

However, her incredibly strong Quirk is also a major asset. Called “Wave Motion,” it lets her release huge, spiraling energy waves. While these waves aren’t fast, they’re so powerful they can’t be easily dismissed. She’s used this ability to restrain enormous creatures and even briefly fight against the dangerous Shigaraki.

Manami Aiba Is an Excellent Example of Redemption

During UA High’s School Festival, two relatively harmless villains from My Hero Academia, Gentle Criminal and La Brava, attempted to infiltrate the school. Gentle was motivated by a pointless desire to prove himself, while La Brava simply supported him. A particularly sad scene showed La Brava pleading with Deku and the Pro Heroes to spare Gentle, but that’s not the primary reason Manami Aiba is considered one of the best female characters in the anime.

My Hero Academia often puts its teenage characters in dangerous situations, which can make it easy to forget they’re still children. Inko, along with the other parents, helps viewers remember the humanity of Class 1-A.

When heroes are battling villains, their families are left at home, anxiously watching the news or fearing for their safety.
