Cassie’s Scathing Reply to Kanye Amid Support for Ex Diddy
Cassie Ventura delivered a critical statement concerning Kanye West, given his open backing of her former partner, who is currently imprisoned (Diddy).
38-year-old singer posted a poignant remark that was initially shared by rapper Playboi Carti, who had been targeted in a recent outburst from Kanye West on social media.
‘YE STFU,’ Carti simply posted in response to Kanye’s remarks.
The acronym STFU is shorthand for ‘shut the f**k up.’
Cassie shared her endorsement by reposting The Shade Room’s post regarding a tweet on her personal Instagram Stories.
It appears that West, age 47, received news about Cassie’s social media post, which prompted him to tell her to “keep quiet” using inappropriate language on platform X. Subsequently, he restated his backing for Diddy.
It’s not unexpected that her thumbs-up on the message since the rapper has consistently expressed public support for Diddy, who Cassie has alleged committed rape and physical violence against.

At the moment, Diddy is being held in jail because he was accused of various sex trafficking and racketeering charges after his arrest on September 16.
As it stands, he will remain in prison ahead of his May 2025 trial.
In essence, Cassie significantly contributed to the collapse of Diddy’s reputation following her allegations of repeated physical abuse and rape in a high-profile $30 million lawsuit. She also appeared to be physically attacked by him in a hotel hallway as captured on security footage. The matter was swiftly resolved by Combs only a day after she filed the lawsuit.
In a recent turn of events, West publicly ridiculed the hotel incident involving X, actively pleaded with President Trump for the release of “Puff” on social platforms, entered into a fashion partnership with Diddy, and assertively claimed that Diddy, the mastermind behind Making A Band, is a superior father compared to himself.
On Tuesday, he also accused Cassie of extorting Diddy as he referenced her $30 million lawsuit.
‘He wrote in a now-deleted post, “Everyone knows that [Puff] has hit a girl before, but everyone is so angry with him.” He went on to question, “So Cassie didn’t extort Puff? Cassie approached Puff and demanded $30 million or she would release a tell-all book. To me, that looks like extortion.”‘
Cassie was in a long-term on-off relationship with Combs for 11 years.
In 2007, two years following their initial encounter when she was 19, they covertly began a relationship. It wasn’t until 2012 that news of their romance surfaced publicly. They parted ways in 2018, six years later.
On November 16, 2023, I chose to bring forth a legal action against Combs, alleging incidents of rape and prolonged physical abuse spanning approximately ten years. This decision, indirectly, sheds light on my absence from the music scene.
According to her statement in the document, she asserted that towards the end of their union, he entered her residence without consent and sexually assaulted her.
The legal complaint outlines the accusation that during their relationship, he is said to have administered drugs to her, threatened her, and coerced her into having sexual encounters with multiple male prostitutes in his presence.
Combs settled the case just one day later.

Back in March, a disturbing security camera video surfaced, revealing an incident from 2016 where Combs allegedly physically assaulted Cassie at the Century City InterContinental Hotel in Los Angeles.
With just a towel wrapped around them, a person is spotted racing down the corridor, hot on someone else’s heels. They then seize that individual by the back of their head and forcefully push them to the floor.
Cassie responded to the chilling video with a statement expressing gratitude: “I appreciate all the love and support from my family, friends, acquaintances, and those I haven’t met yet.
The abundance of affection has provided a secure haven where my younger self can reside comfortably now, yet this is merely the start of something greater.
Dealing with Domestic Violence was a challenging experience that changed me in ways I hadn’t anticipated. It took a toll on me, leaving me feeling broken and unrecognizable. But through determination and perseverance, I have managed to rebuild myself and improve my life. However, I continue to heal from the scars of my past.
Upon Combs’ arrest, a source near Cassie reported that it was not a joyous occasion for her.

According to the source, while she’s glad the case has progressed to a higher level, she’s not expressing joy or celebration about it. (DailyMail.com)
She feels disappointed that, back in the 90s, others who claimed to be victims weren’t heard, as it could have protected her from the same ordeal.
According to the source, Cassie is stepping back for a while to prioritize her tranquility as the specifics of the case are provoking her.
Apart from being reported, she was allegedly upset by the jokes and internet memes about baby oil following the confiscation of around 1,000 bottles of baby oil and lubricant from Combs’ homes in Miami and Los Angeles. These items were suspected to be used for the notorious ‘Freak Offs’ parties that he was rumored to host.
In November, Combs’ legal team argued that the security video showing Combs attacking Cassie might have been manipulated or edited.

Prosecutors from the federal government used the video as proof that Combs was involved in human trafficking of Ventura, and also warned about the potential risks to other women if Combs were granted bail.
However, the legal team for the music executive countered these claims, stating that the prosecution had manipulated the video evidence and fabricated the storyline presented in court, according to ABC News.
The legal team argued that the video didn’t depict a random outburst, as some might interpret it, but rather a heated domestic argument where the musician was rushing down the corridor to retrieve his phone and personal items.
Lawyers for Combs contend that additional video footage of the incident provides evidence contradicting the prosecution’s claims, and they are prepared to present a forensic video expert at his bail hearing.
Cassie’s lawyers have countered by asserting that the video is genuine and expect it will be considered as evidence, having already challenged this point.
According to DailyMail.com, Wigdor countered Diddy’s claim, stating that it was not unexpected for him to present an insincere argument aimed at preventing the distressing video from being presented to the jury during the forthcoming trial.
He stated, “I believe the video truthfully portrays the events, will be accepted as evidence, and it’s expected that Combs will face consequences for his inhumane actions.
As a die-hard fan, I can’t help but weigh in on the recent controversy surrounding Diddy’s team’s assertion that CNN manipulated and discarded the initial footage. They’ve made this claim in court, hoping for its exclusion, but Cassie’s camp anticipates that their motion will be dismissed.
According to a recent statement from Diddy’s lawyers, communicated to Dailymail.com, CNN’s counsel was made aware in both written and verbal exchanges that they had deleted the original video file they obtained from their source.
CNN denied the claims made by Combs that the clip was edited to make him look worse.
According to a representative from CNN, they neither manipulated nor deleted the video; instead, they kept the initial recording given by the source. The CNN had broadcasted the related story on the video several months prior to Diddy’s arrest.

Although Diddy isn’t currently being charged with assault based on the video evidence, federal authorities plan to leverage this footage to strengthen claims about his pattern of violent behavior.
In the midst of recent headlines, I’ve found myself subtly pouring my energy into rekindling my passion for music – a dream that’s been on hold for over two decades due to certain circumstances. Here’s to new beginnings!
She’s focusing on a return to the music scene now, having registered a new song and contemplating if she should release some untouched tracks from her music collection.
A source has reportedly shared with DailyMail.com (in October) that Cassie might return to the music industry as Diddy is currently imprisoned, and certain key executives who used to be loyal to him have stepped down.
She never thought her career would be halted as it turned out to be upon the release of her first album. However, with an abundance of unpublished tracks at hand, she plans to share them for release when the circumstances and business situation align perfectly.
They added: ‘Her collaborators have been informed of this, so the royalty splits have been agreed.’
The disclosure arises following Cassie (originally known as Cassie Ventura) making changes to the song “Into It” in May of this year, a track that she had previously recorded and submitted to Universal Music way back in 2010.
She is also now expecting her third child with husband Alex Fine.
