Hollywood Star’s Shocking Health Revelation Amid Controversial Beachside Squatting Claims!
In recent times, I found myself brushing with the grim reaper, as I shared my story about my current situation: living in a coastal property within one of Australia’s most affluent neighborhoods, allegedly without formal residence rights.
The secluded performer personally attended the New South Wales Civil and Administrative Tribunal in Sydney to counter claims that he’s unwilling to vacate a granny flat located at the back of Charles Philip Porter’s Palm Beach residence, as Porter himself is currently residing in a nursing home.
The tribunal learned that the owner permitted Greg Gomez Pead (also known as Mr. Serious) to reside in the guest house because he was homeless, living in an old BMW car, but after Mr. Porter entered care, he moved into the main house instead.
Due to the necessity of selling the house to cover Mr. Porter’s nursing home costs, it was revealed that Mr. Serious was unwilling to vacate.
In response to the allegations, as reported by The Daily Telegraph, Mr. Serious stated, “I’ve made significant progress; I was literally on the brink of death not long ago… Frankly, I’m getting better, but I’m finding it difficult to remember everyday things.
According to Philip’s lawyer’s recommendation, it would be best for me to remain at the property and act as its caretaker. This seems to be a rather intricate situation.
In a desperate attempt to remove an unwelcome tenant and facilitate a sale, Margaret Charlton, as Mr. Porter’s designated authority, initiated a legal proceeding.
In a heartbeat, I’d die to call that three-bedroom bungalow nestled amidst over an acre of verdant paradise, situated in Australia’s premier property hotspot, mine! Can you believe it’s only asking for a cool $1.9 million? A dream within reach for any passionate real estate enthusiast like myself!
In her filing with NCAT, Ms Charlton expressed concern that if the property can’t be sold, Mr. Porter’s continued care may be jeopardized.
As a devoted admirer, I’ve taken on the responsibility of managing Mr. Porter’s affairs because he’s now residing in a nursing home, as a result of his diagnosis with dementia.
I’ve been directed by the Public Trustee to put the property up for sale, so we can cover the costs of Mr. Porter’s long-term care.
‘Failure to do so will result in his removal from his current care facility.’
Looking back on 2020, I found myself in a challenging situation when I fell behind on my rent payments at my beloved Avalon residence, ultimately leading to my eviction. However, these setbacks have only served as stepping stones towards refining and redefining my career path, a journey that is ongoing and filled with promise.
Previously, in 2007, he experienced a divorce. Additionally, with his career declining at the dawn of the new millennium, he initiated a lawsuit that ultimately failed against the search engine Yahoo!.
In 2007, he went through a divorce. As his career was on a downward spiral around the year 2000, he attempted to sue Yahoo!, but it didn’t succeed.

Initially, he received praise towards the end of 1988 for acting, directing, producing, and writing the film Young Einstein, where he played the lead role.
Upon its premiere, the film became the Australian movie with the second highest box office earnings, trailing only Crocodile Dundee, having garnered a global revenue of approximately $33 million.
Its success landed Serious, then 34, on the cover of Time and MAD magazines.
During his rising fame in the U.S., he presented The Yahoo Serious Show on MTV. This caught the attention of Hollywood, enabling him to release another humorous film, Reckless Kelly, in 1993, following Young Einstein. Although it was a hit locally, it didn’t gain traction in the U.S. markets.
After the unenthusiastic reception of his third movie, “Mr Accident,” in 2000, his once-promising acting career took a significant downturn.
In that very year, a chaotic shift occurred for Serious as he initiated a legal battle against Yahoo!, alleging trademark violation.
The judge decided to drop the lawsuit since the actor failed to provide evidence showing he offered goods or services under the brand “Yahoo.” Consequently, he couldn’t show any damage or misunderstanding in his career caused by the well-known search engine at that time.
2007 marked a crucial attempt for Serious to achieve stardom with his appearance in the brief documentary film titled “In the Cannes”. However, unfortunately, his career didn’t experience another significant surge after that point.

Since parting ways with his wife, Lulu Pinkus, after a 20-year marriage in 2010, Serious has rarely made public appearances.
In 2020, when he was forced out, it became public knowledge that Serious was finding it difficult to cover living expenses due to not having paid his rent for a period of five months.
As a die-hard admirer, I can’t help but share this turn of events: The NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal mandated that I, in my capacity as a tenant, should fork out $15,000 to my landlords, Tanya and Andrew Barlow. However, this sum falls short of the actual debt owed, and they’ve also requested that I pack up and leave their property.
Starting from March 2017, Serious and his production firm, Serious Productions Pty Ltd, commenced leasing a property at a weekly rate of $1,350.
The court determined that he was late with his payments dating back to November 2019, and hadn’t made any payments since February 25, 2020.
He asserted that, much like many others working within the artistic and creative sectors, his earnings were significantly impacted due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
In other words, the bank statements presented didn’t offer evidence that he had any earnings before the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic.
As a lifestyle advisor, I’d say when someone inquired about my application for rental aid, I shared that I visited Centrelink and was suggested to apply for the age pension since I was approaching my 67th birthday.
