Alison Brie and Dave Franco’s Together is “totally unhinged”: Watch the first trailer

As a gaming enthusiast, I can’t contain my excitement after catching a glimpse of the chilling first trailer for the horror movie “Together,” featuring the talented duo Alison Brie and Dave Franco. Summer just got a whole lot scarier, but I can’t wait to witness their spine-tingling performance when it hits the big screen!

Earlier this year, the film by writer-director Michael Shanks premiered at Sundance Film Festival. In it, the on-screen couple, who are actually married in real life, portray a seemingly content, long-term relationship.

In the video displayed earlier, we find Tim and Millie embarking on a fresh chapter in the countryside, having been together for quite some time. Initially, their peaceful cohabitation transforms into something eerier as they both encounter strange phenomena.

In one instance, Tim is extracting a lengthy lock of dark hair from within his mouth. In another unsettling moment, Millie expresses distress over a drawing she made for school that depicts two dogs gradually blending together, emerging from one of her eyes.

The trailer, especially its final scene where the characters’ eyelashes seem to merge, subtly suggests a transformation or union between them in some mysterious, shape-shifting fusion.

Currently, the film titled “Together” is receiving universal acclaim with a perfect 100% score on Rotten Tomatoes. Critics such as Variety have praised it as both “crazy” and “not brainless.

The film, created by Brie and Franco, will premiere in U.S. cinemas on August 1st. A release date for the United Kingdom has not been announced as of now.

Fans of body-horror genre can look forward to another film hitting theaters following its premiere at Sundance, a highly anticipated event.

After receiving favorable feedback, the twisted Norwegian fairy tale “The Ugly Stepsister” has unveiled a trailer similar to “The Substance“, prior to its scheduled release on April 25th.

Under the guidance of director Emilie Blichfeldt, this movie presents a dark interpretation of the classic tale, ‘Cinderella’. The leading character, Elvira, portrayed by Lea Myren, alters her appearance drastically using harsh cosmetic surgeries in an attempt to win over the prince.

Together is released in US cinemas on August 1.
