Let’s dive straight right into Trina’s abilities!

TLDR

If you’re familiar with PvP battles, Trina isn’t a complex character to grasp. She carries a weapon known as ClipRL, which in PvP terms, signifies an incredibly high burst potential and versatility, allowing her to seamlessly fit into any team for improvement. Notably, she is the inaugural ClipRL unit that offers offensive boosts! Aside from Jackal, she stands out as the top choice when it comes to utilizing a ClipRL unit!

She has a unique skill set that significantly amplifies the resistance of Electric Attack Role units in intense combat scenarios. In player-versus-player (PvP) games, Scarlet and Moran reap the most benefits from this specialty. Swift Scarlet teams are now incredibly formidable, while Moran stall teams, or those combining Nero and Moran, have become faster and more dependable with Trina’s assistance. Essential for any enthusiast of competitive play, this skill pairing offers a powerful synergy.

Step-by-step Analysis

Burst generation

In the arena of Player versus Player (PvP), Trina is recognized as a standout Clip RL unit, thanks to Shift Up’s blessing that makes it an automatically top-tier weapon. Notably, Trina boasts an astoundingly high base burst generation, which is the highest among all units at 3.6%. This makes her a highly sought-after figure in PvP. While she ranks second in terms of Burst Generation overall, technically she’s the 4th best unit considering other factors, with HelmTreasure, Jackal, and Emilia leading due to their 21% Charge Speed and Emilia’s Skill 1 making it easier to reach a significant milestone. Despite this, Trina’s exceptionally high Burst Generation sets her apart as a must-have unit in your collection.

Supporting Output and Comparisons

Trina possesses three distinct methods for aiding units. We’ll start with her least effective skill, then gradually move up to her strongest, detailing each one individually.

Initially, Trina has the ability to restore health, yet there are limitations to this power. She cannot heal at the start, nor can she heal every unit. Instead, she is capable of healing just two units, but only when their Health Points (HP) drop below 50%. Characters such as Nero, who wish to benefit from Trina’s healing, must first reduce their HP below 50%. If a character’s HP falls below 30%, Trina will heal them extra, however, this low HP level is already quite risky. After her burst, Trina’s healing can be utilized by stall teams, but it typically won’t significantly impact the outcome in 90% of the cases.

As a devoted fan, I’d like to highlight an intriguing aspect of her abilities: At the onset of battle, she amps up the Max HP of Electric AR units without restoring any HP herself. This pairs splendidly with Moran, as his Skill 1 escalates with this boost. To sweeten the deal, she grants Invincibility for a brief 2 seconds to electric AR units. This can be a lifesaver for characters like Scarlet, giving them the extra time needed to obliterate the opposing team in lightning-fast PvP teams in P1. In most situations, she’ll rarely meet her demise if the team speed is 2RL. The only significant threats come from Iron DPS units, but these are relatively scarce in PvP. Interestingly, when Trina unleashes her burst, she amplifies Max HP for all units, allowing characters such as Cinderella, xMaiden, or 2B to deal more damage with a minor boost to their resilience.

1. To summarize, here are Trina’s key abilities: When she unleashes her burst, she boosts the attack damage of all allies by 20%. Moreover, she excels at enhancing Electric AR units, providing them with an astounding 94.15% attack damage increase! This is an extraordinary buff for a single B2 unit and combined with Burst Gen, it poses a significant threat to 2~2.5RL Scarlet teams! Incredibly, even Moran will begin healing herself when her burst activates due to its life-steal effect! Trina’s burst also boosts Scarlet’s reload speed and ammo by 100%, making her an ideal companion for Scarlet. However, it is essential to note that the parts of Trina’s burst skill that enhance Burst Skill Damage against enemies are not applicable in PvP. They are exclusive PvE buffs that necessitate Raptures to be present.

In summary (TLDR), regarding burst generation comparisons, we’ve discussed them in the Burst gen section earlier. Compared to standard healers like Rapunzel, her healing abilities are more specialized. Furthermore, her maximum health buffs are relatively lower. Lastly, when compared to other B2 buffers, she excels at boosting Scarlet and Moran, but offers mediocre support for other units.

Synergies and Weaknesses

Two perfect collaborations, Trina, seem incredibly appealing – Scarlet and Moran. Although we’ve previously talked about these pairings, let me quickly summarize them again for better understanding.

First, let’s discuss Scarlet. As the primary B3 unit, Scarlet functions as a powerful nuke. When paired with Trina, she transforms into a highly destructive nuke and can potentially wipe out any opposing team, unless Noah, Bay, or Blanc intervene to save the enemy team. She doesn’t require additional buffering to carry out her devastating attacks! Trina, being a ClipRL unit, contributes to quicker speeds, so it’s essential to be faster than the opposition to secure an effortless victory. Speed is crucial for this duo; otherwise, using Trina elsewhere would be more advantageous.

In contrast to the offensive-focused partnership between Scarlet and Trina, Moran’s alliance with Trina leans more towards defense. While Trina supports both Morana and Nero, it’s crucial that Nero drops below half health so Trina can heal him and stack up to two times ‘Cat’s Repayment’, before unleashing her burst. Moran can lower her health since Trina increases her maximum HP, which in turn boosts Moran’s defensive stats and enables her to withstand substantial damage. If Trina unleashes her burst, Moran’s regular attacks become significantly stronger, and her lifesteal now allows her to endure heavy ongoing damage.

From my perspective as a devoted fan, it’s important to note that Trina doesn’t have any significant weaknesses that should cause undue concern. However, it’s crucial to prevent any Iron units on the opposing team from eliminating her before she can unleash her burst ability.

Impact on current meta

Tier List Rating: SS – 9.45

Trina is an outstanding choice for players engaging in Player versus Player (PvP) battles. In the current economic climate of burst generation, ClipRLs have become invaluable, and having a burst generation unit that also boosts its team!? Indeed, a highly recommended unit to acquire for all PvP enthusiasts. Trina’s utility is not likely to diminish any time soon, but rather is anticipated to be extremely effective across all three PvP modes. A notable offensive presence in the Rookie mode, a sound decision for faster defensive teams on SP Arena, and an absolute certainty for use in the forthcoming Champions Arena! However, Shift Up, should you be reading this, kindly provide us with more information about Champions Arena!!

Team Examples

Every team is versatile, serving both offense and defense duties, given that a player possesses adequate resources for additional teams. Positioning plays a crucial role, so it’s essential to replicate positions accurately.

2RL – Do or Die

Scarlet,Trina,Centi,Red Hood,Rumani
Tempering Cube,Quantum Cube,Quantum Cube,Quantum Cube,Vigor Cube

The Scarlet character, using a double buffer technique, will deal area-of-effect damage in the next two rounds without Quantum Cubes. If your opponent believes there’s any chance of survival, they are mistaken. If they cannot block this attack with Noah, Bay, or Blanc, it means game over for them.

Centi, Rumani Replacements:

  • Anis
  • Jackal
  • Emilia

If prioritizing Combat Power (CP) for your team, feel free to swap out Red Hood with any preferred character. Scarlet remains potent even with only Trina providing boosts. However, ensure that your team includes at least one Tier 1 (B1) member.

3RL – Stall them like your life depends on it!

Nero,Moran,Helm (Treasure),Rapunzel,Trina
Tempering Cube,Vigor Cube,Healing Cube,Vigor Cube,Vigor Cube

This team also boasts a robust defense strategy, leveraging Helm’s Damage Per Second (DPS) to secure victory. Moran’s damage isn’t amplified by Trina, but Nero is anticipated to gain an additional healing stack. Maximizing these stacks with her Cat’s Repayment ability becomes crucial for Nero in P1, as it can absorb all incoming damage (except Area of Effect damage) unless otherwise specified.

2.5RL – The Great Wall of Moran

Moran,Rapunzel,Helm (Treasure),Trina,Mana
Tempering Cube,Quantum Cube,Quantum Cube,Quantum Cube,Vigor Cube

This team, known for its swift response, aims to boost Moran’s chances of survival. The strategy here includes introducing Mana into the game during the second Burst rotation, in an attempt to come out victorious somehow. However, this team is vulnerable against Area of Effect (AoE) damage dealers, but it can hold its ground against non-AoE teams or other stalling teams.

HelmT Replacement:

  • Quiry (but the team will now be 3RL)

2RL – Cinderella Nuke

Noah,Noise,Cinderella,Helm (Treasure),Trina
Adjutant Cube,Adjutant Cube,Adjutant Cube,Adjutant Cube,Adjutant Cube

If Scarlet or Moran aren’t available, no worries. We can always rely on another powerful unit to obliterate the opposition team instead. Trina’s impressive Burst Generation enables a 2-round nuclear strike with Cinderella.

2RL – 2 Nukes

Scarlet,Trina,Helm (Treasure),Rosanna,Jackal
Tempering Cube,Adjutant Cube,Adjutant Cube,Tempering Cube,Adjutant Cube

Just make sure Rosanna and Scarlet are linked to Jackal and this team is as good as it gets..

HelmT Replacement:

  • Anis

Budget Meta Team Compositions

This part could include less-than-optimal squads, yet suitable for filling out incomplete lineups when players can’t implement all strategic suggestions. Each team can be utilized for offensive play, and if a player has sufficient resources, they can also be employed defensively. Positioning plays a crucial role here; it is recommended to replicate positions as accurately as possible.
