Brawl Stars Griff Guide: Attacks, Star Power, Gadgets, Gears and more

In season 7 of Jurassic Splash, which is equivalent to Brawl Stars, two fresh brawlers made their debut. One, named Buzz, was simultaneously launched with the update, while another character, Griff, can be acquired by all players through an in-game challenge. Players who missed the challenge or failed to reach the 15 wins milestone can still get Griff from loot boxes. This guide will delve into Griff’s abilities and offer suggestions on how best to employ him in Brawl Stars.

New Brawler: Griff

Despite poor business, Griff, who oversees Collette and Edgar at the Starr Park Gift Shop, still occasionally discards money from the tip jar.

  • Rarity: Epic
  • Class: Controller
  • Health at lvl 11: 6800
  • Damage at lvl 11: 9 x 560

Griff is now in his favorite place ever! In the shop! 🛒

(And not so favorite, but in boxes too!) 📦

Brawl Stars Griff Guide: Attacks

Griff’s Attack: Coin Toss

Griff launches three rounds of assaults, with each round featuring 3 coins, summing up to 9 coins per round. His reach is quite good, managing approximately 8.33 tiles.

Griff’s Super: Cashback

Griff hurls his five-note currency, which takes the form of a cone. These notes resemble Carl’s primary attack in that they return after hitting their maximum distance, causing damage on either side, and can pass through walls as they come back, but not while moving forward.

As a hardcore gamer, I’ve found that my in-game currency can do some serious damage on the battlefield. The farther these banknotes fly, the more harm they inflict on my enemies. I need a total of 12 coins to fully charge my super, and it’s pretty sweet how I can even use my super to juice up my super!

Tips for using Griff’s Super

  • Maximize Distance for higher damage: Since Griff’s Super deals more damage the farther they travel, you should try to position yourself at a good distance while using it. This way you can deal the most damage to enemies.
  • Use the Super for quick recharge: The best thing about Griff’s Super is the ability to recharge another Super quickly since these banknotes hit enemies multiple times. You should use it in a way where multiple enemies are hit with it to spam it once again.

Brawl Stars Lily Guide: Griff’s Skills

Gadgets

Piggy Bank

Griff sets off a time device disguised as a piggy bank, inflicting approximately 700 points of damage on any nearby enemy Brawler and pushing them away within about 2.67 tiles’ range. This gadget detonates after 2.5 seconds, shattering walls too. A recharge period of 16 seconds is required before it can be used again.

Coin Shower

With the help of this device, your upcoming Coin Flip will eject approximately 33% additional coins. The device requires a 11-second cooling period between uses.

Star Power

Keep the Change

The quicker tossing of coins with Keep the Change Star Power results in a slower rate of unloading, decreasing it by approximately 25%.

Business Resilience

Using his celestial influence, Griff regenerates about 15% of his lost health every two seconds. The less health he has, the faster he recovers.

Best Game Modes for Griff

Best Brawler Combination with Griff

In a team setup, Griff’s robustness as a Brawler is beneficial, but his relatively slow reload rate and health level necessitate effective team synergy. For tanks, either Frank or Hank complement Griff exceptionally well, offering protection. Frank’s Super ability stands out, momentarily stunning opponents, which gives Griff an opportunity to inflict substantial damage. Additionally, they help in strategically repositioning or flanking the enemy.

Finx strengthens Griff’s main attack using his Super, making him a crucial team member. Similarly, Max is an excellent companion because her Super boosts Griff’s movement speed. Characters like Kenji or Martis work well with Griff, as they can quickly eliminate weak enemies that Griff has already weakened through damage.

Best Gears for Griff in Brawl Stars

Damage Gear

The “Damage Gear” synergizes effectively with Griff, enhancing your damage output by 15% in critical situations. This bonus activates when your health drops below 50%.

Reload Speed Gear

Griff significantly improves with the Quick Reload Equipment, boosting his comparatively sluggish reload pace by 15%, resulting in swifter assaults.
