Adam Sandler Is Back for Another Round of Golf in First Trailer for ‘Happy Gilmore 2’

Netflix unveiled the initial preview for Adam Sandler’s upcoming film titled “Happy Gilmore 2.” This sneak peek offers a glimpse of what viewers might encounter in the sequel, which is set to release nearly three decades after the original.

On July 25th, the movie finds Sandler reprising his beloved character Happy, but it appears he has retired from golf this time. Nevertheless, a force seems to be pulling him back to the golf course. Virginia (played by Julie Bowen) tells him, “It seems we’re not finished with golf yet.

In the remake of the 1996 film, Sandler and Bowen reprise their roles, while Ben Stiller, Christopher McDonald, and Dennis Dugan return as well. The part of Happy’s caddie is played by Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio (Bad Bunny). Additionally, John Daly, Sadie Sandler, Sunny Sandler, Conor Sherry, Ethan Cutkosky, Philip Fine Schneider, Maxwell Jacob Friedman, Travis Kelce, Blake Clark, Justin Thomas, Scottie Scheffler, Rory McIlroy, Bryson DeChambeau, and Paige Spiranic make guest appearances.

In this rendition, Kyle Newachek serves as the director, while the writing and co-production duties are handled by Adam Sandler and Tim Herlihy. These roles are also shared by Jack Giarraputo and Robert Simonds.
